It's small it's fast. I love it. I think I got it on sale which was pretty great. it's pretty easy to set up. don't forget to create a new volume so you can use it, unless you have a laptop than you might need some cloning software. Its great for what you pay for it.

Great product and speed, it improve speed od a game so it could run faster, then there's the reliability of longevity instead of mechanical hard drives. Great product at a great price!

This product improved the performance of my computer. For example, boot times dropped instantly from over three minutes to under thirty seconds easily! This is spite of running several sizable startup programs and a modest internet connection.

Great ssd for storage on a newer pc, or as a boot drive on an older one. It has vram and uses tlc. Simply put, it's one of the best 2.5" sata drives available. We used this drive to upgrade an all in one pc that was struggling w/ an old hdd drive. It went from being unable to use for browsing comfortably to being able to perform multiple tasks at once while watching a youtube video. It turned a giant, expensive piece of e-waste into a usable pc for a few more years.

Lots of memory space and works way faster than my old Hard drive. Now my old 2010 Lenovo laptop boots up within a minute.

Bought this SSD to upgrade my desktop hard drive. It has greatly speed up the time my PC boots. PC starts and boots faster than with the old spin up hard drive. Plus the 1 TB storage is nice. Has worked great in the few months since I purchased it.

I bought this to use as a game/app drive to supplement a smaller nvme boot drive. It installed without an issue and was immediately recognized by Windows. The read and write speeds are much faster than mechanical HDDs.

I've use Crucial products in the past and this is no exception. The build quality is great and was easy to install. It breathed increased life and performance to an 10 yr laptop. It is a great value for the price and highly recommended.

Excellent SSD, have used the Crucial MX series as the "go-to" drive since the MX100, and the MX500 does not disappoint. Sale price from Best Buy was better vs. online vendors, and local availability sealed the sale. Highly recommended.

Is a good SSD. Like i said in my review about the WD, if youre upgrading from a HDD to a SSD then you will definitely notice the difference. I used this particular SSD (with the internal HD case for desktops) to help revive an Asus desktop from 2006 and this SSD helps load the OS (windows 10) so fast compared to the old HDD. If yourr looking to swap between SSDs to notice a difference then youll have to go pretty high end. Chances are most of us wouldnt even be able to tell the difference between different SSDs. If youre looking to upgrade from an HDD (desktop or laptop), or use for additional storage then this is a quality product. IF YOURE PUTTING THIS INTO AN OLDER DESKTOP WITH A 3.5" DRIVE, then you should probably buy the adapter so it isnt just sitting in there unsecured.

I have bought quite a few of these Crucial MX series SSDs. None have let me down yet either in performance or reliability, and they are plenty fast for my video editing, DJ software and more.
