Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took in my laptop to the Geek Squad (I am a Best Buy Total Tech ("Squad") member) because it was slow to operate and would periodically shut down for no reason. After having this checked out, the Squad rep advised me the operating system was sound, but that I needed a new hard drive. The recommendation was to purchase a "solid state" drive, which I did. The cost to me, given my Squad membership was quite reasonable, because the cost to scope out the problem and install the new drive were covered, my sole out of pocket being the hard drive.. The laptop works better than ever, and, once again, I compliment the Squad for its efficiency in solving my problem and turning around my laptop-- less than 48 hours start to finish. My membership is a real value, and this particular solution for me was stellar.

It Just Works

Fit easy in an enclosure to transfer my data. Formatted just fine, and eaily able to swap it into my laptop.

As far as the Crucial-MX500 1 TB internal SSD SATA is concerned I am very pleased with the results.

Great drive and working perfectly 30 days later!

When I opened the box and read the info, I found that Crucial supplied you with all of the info for the free software to swap out the drives by mirroring the old drive with the operating system. It took a few hours due to how slow the old drive was, but now the computer is amazingly fast!

Upgraded Laptop to SSD

We pretty much feel as if we have a new laptop now. Great product

I have used them to clone my old laptops drives as replacements. I have been very impressed with the speed increase and ease of use and installation.
