Does everything everyone else says it does. Bought mostly to improve load times in video games, and boy, it improved things a ton. I'm not sure it's the best out there, but it does seem like a good, good drive for the price.

Bought 2 for my unraid gaming server, they are pretty quick one is in parity, planning on getting a few more.

Exactly what I needed after my year old hard drive failed (don't waste your money buying anything Lenovo) not as fast as some of samsung's drives but less than half the price for the same capacity makes it worth every cent. If you need a drive just buy it you won't be disappointed

So far, this works well, seems fast. Installed in a HD slot with an adapter. The initializing process was quick and easy.

So the instructions seemed to be straightforward but the execution was not that smooth. In my last ditch attempt I hooked up the drive and then formatted that drive. Before that it would say there were errors and fail in the last part of the cloning. I think the formatting kinda shocked the system and its been working flawlessly since. Boot time is awesome. Wife is impressed.

This Crucial drive is quite a bit slower than the ADATA drive it replaced at boot time. I'm guessing maybe at power-on the Crucial drive does some diagnostics/housekeeping which slows the initial boot of Win10. But, once booted the performance is on par with the ADATA drive it replaced. Not a huge deal really -- I was just used to a very quick boot with the ADATA and now I've lost that..... I did a curbside pickup at BestBuy to get the drive. That worked perfectly and limited my exposure to COVID19. Curbside is the way to go -- no question about that!!

Purchased for a mirrored ZFS boot volume for my new home server (PowerEdge R740XD). So far they have been working well.

My laptop was running really slow. My son told me to pick up a Crucial drive at Best Buy. He said it was easy to install if you know what you are doing. He dropped the laptop off the next day and it runs like new again. Great investment in the health of my laptop.

Replaced the 1TB hard drive in 2 computers with these. I made a system image backup using the W10 backup with advanced options to save a system image to a portable hard drive. I then just unplugged the SATA and power cables from that hard drive and plugged them into this SSD. Installed the system disk and powered up the computer. Made the proper selections to read the image from the portable hard drive to restore the computer to the SSD. Went without a hitch. There are other ways to do this and Curcial has instructions on their WEB site.

Works great. I use it in a 2010 Mac Pro and the speed increase from a conventional hard drive is significant.

One of the cheapest, cachedSSDs you can get from a reputable manufacturer. Very good value for the price, especially if on sale.

Added a 2nd hard drive to a Acer Laptop. I always buy Crucial SSD's for laptop installations that I do for friends and family. Reasonably priced and fast enough.

Got this for a family members build. It makes his games load up nearly as fast as my NVMe M.2 SSD and on paper my SSD is 7 times faster. So if you want to speed up your loading times and move from a HDD, don't be turned off by this SATA SSD. It actually performs quite well.

This is my go to SSD drive. For the price you can not get a better drive. Boot times are so much faster then a standard hard drive. Copying files from one SSD to another is lightening fast. I always forget how fast until I have to move files over from a non SSD.

Excellent price for this Crucial SSD. Included software allowed for an easy transfer from my old drive and has been working flawlessly for a month now

This was an excellent replacement for my traditional hard drive. My laptop is running faster and smoother than ever before.

Great SSD, I've been using several brands and this one has been the best by far.
