Needed to replace an 8 year old desktop hard drive that had died. This worked very well and has more than enough capacity until I replace the older computer.

Im not a fan of crucial but I installed This ssd in a laptop and is working good so far. I do hate the cheap looking software from crucial. Samsung has a way better program for their stuff Crucial feelings cheap, don’t get me wrong it maybe faster for a cuple thousands of seconds than Samsung but still feels cheap design. It like I bend a galvanized sheet metal and posted for sale to the public

Brought new life to my old HP Beats Laptop, the old disk mad it too slow to work with, with this upgrade the disk I/O botleneck was removed and now the Laptops has been working very good so far.

Excellent product it works flawless easy to setup no matter for what you use it. I have multiple of these one for my PC and one in my laptop great quality for a low price.

This is not the first Crucial SSD I own. I have not had this one long enough to know if it will last but I have had no problems with previous drives. I did have to format this one before I could clone it which is weird. The cloning software that came with it did not work. It cloned the drive and when hooked internally into my computer it was not seen at all...

Solid housing. I use a docking duplicator to copy images from a source drive to an unformatted drive. Oddly, the duplicator would not copy a Sandisk SSD drive. That happens when the target drive is smaller than the source drive, which shouldn't be the case since the Crucial and the Sandisk drives report the same capacity. I was able to copy a Seagate HDD drive of nominally equivalent size without issue, so the drive is not defective. Benchmark rating is similar to Samsung EVO 860.

The MX500 seires is one of the few, classic MLC/TLC devices with DRAM and better longevity than the new BX and other series with greatly reduced longevity like most cheap devices. So worth the extra 20% or so, and especially when on-sale.

I usually buy high end SSDs from Samsung, etc. I thought I'd give this a chance and to my surprise, it is better than I expected. I was expecting this to have a pretty low read and write speeds, but I was wrong.

I have always had good experiences with Crucial products. This works as expected.

Got this to go iside my eufy security works great No issues as of now may upgread so i can have all my system as continuous recording
