This is a great sata SSD. It basically maxes out sata speeds, just like the Samsung evo 860, but it's a good bit less expensive. It also has a D ram cache to help keep things moving along quickly when you're writing large files. I got this instead of an nvme drive because my board on has 2 m.2 slots, and I highly recommend it if you need or a sata ssd.

My computer was so slow I thot I needed to buy a new one. Instead I bought this drive. I used this drive to replace a lagging optical drive and it made all the difference in the world. I feel like I have a new computer. The included software made cloning my old drive super easy. Recommend!

A great SSD for the money; a great value; it made my dekstop computer very fast; Used it as a replacement for my main drive. My fan runs ver quiet, no heat up, no moviing parts : it's a great replacement for my equipment.

Got it on sale. 1tb is a minimum for gaming. More tb more money. This is perfect. Great speed and easy to use. Paired with a sabrent 3.0 adapter and you can just hook it up to your xbox and what ever else you want. This is a great speedy alternative to normal hdds. Well worth it.

My sons ps4 hard drive went bad. Got this one for a good price and it was super easy to install. Also came with a spacer plate to accommodate for the smaller size. I have two other PlayStations in the house and hopefully they don’t incur the same situation but if they do I will def buy this again.

Great and really good price for a SSD unit with really good performance

This drive worked out perfectly. I bought an ASUS Tuf gaming laptop that only came with 256GB of hard drive space. Just basic windows and data transfer had eaten it down to only 60GB free space. Now I have over 1TB and the drive is easy to install and transfers are fast. A must have for this laptop. After a RAM upgrade it'll be an awesome machine.

Excellent drive for the price. Installed this in a desktop and laptop computer. Installation went without any issues. Prior to purchasing, I had researched this drive on the Crucial website which had the step by step instructions for the cloning process and installation.

PC was running very slow and determined was hard drive failing. Purchased to replace failing hard drive in desktop PC. Install was simple and using Macrium Reflect (free version) was able to clone failing drive and be up and running on new SSD in under 20 minutes. PC now working great again and much faster having an SSD vs mechanical drive.

This is the 2nd one of these drives that I have bought. I bought the first one over a year ago to install into a new gaming laptop. I have had no issues with it. I recently bought another gaming laptop for our daughter and bought another of these drives to install into an empty drive bay. It was easy to install and no problems once again.

Great SSD drive with 3D NAND cache. This drives performance is only slightly surpassed by the Samsung EVO 870, NOT the QVO version!!! However, bought this bad boy on a price match sale, and even on its normal sale price its a fraction of the cost of the Samsung Evo.

Plenty fast for my needs. I use it as the system drive in my multi-boot Windows/Linux machine. It comes in very handy, since I like to experiment with different versions of Linux, and this makes the multiple installs go quickly. It's also imperative to have a SSD drive for Windows Updates.

This SSD was installed to replace a three-year old hard drive. The computer had become very slow and had become nearly useless - so much so that i was prepared to purchase a new laptop. The geek Squad asked if i wanted them to look at the hard drive to see if it was failing - and I agreed. They were right, and for a modest amount they replaced that failing hard drive with a new SSD. The change was astounding - the machine is now nearly ten times as fast and much more useable. So for far less than the cost of a new computer, they gave my machine a new life and made it better than a new machine i was considering@!

I am impressed with the improved speed this SSD has given my computer. I get fast start ups and fast response to my pc, which I was about to replace because it was dragging. It was easy to install and it is an affordable choice.

Has to replace a spinning drive in a PS4 and felt it needed a little more speed. Quick install and seems reliable. I alwqys enjoy getting stuff from Crucial.

Cheep for the size, read speeds were 560 MBps, write speeds were 485 MBps which is not bad considering the price of one hundred dollars for 1 TB. Cons: NVME is starting to take over the PC space and less cases have 2.5 inch drives. You have to buy adapters, enclosures or leave your SSD floating in a 5.25 or 3.5 inch bay.

Price and performance are great, enabling Momentum Cache really increased speed. Had to install Windows 10 on sata for this machine, now can reliably dual boot Samsung drive had issue with disappearing on restart, would only show on cold start
