Crucial MX500 - Failed after just 2-weeks

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these MX500 SSD drives in May for a new computer build that I was finally able to find all the parts and start building at the end of June. Fortunately, they were just extra library drives for an audio recording computer, with M.2 drives as the system drive and primary library drive. One of the MX500 drives is still working -- however, the other failed in just two weeks. No warning at all -- it just stopped showing up in the drive list. All power and MB connections were fine -- also tried it in an external dock on another computer, just to make sure. Sure enough, it was dead. Of course, it's outside the return window for Best Buy, but will try to get a RMA with Crucial and see if I can get a replacement. In the meantime, I may order another SSD from another brand - and just in case the other MX500 is from the same batch and happens to fail. Thankfully, I had HDD copies (via external dock) of most of my sound libraries on SSD -- made it a bit less of a disaster.
