Bought this series for a friend who is a CSI fan. He enjoyed them very much

I am enjoying the collection of CSI DVDs I purchased from the first season. It brings back a lot of good memorys and reminds me of how well written the stories are. Anyone who enjoys the CSI shows will enjoy this collection.

I watched this show from the start and was sad to see it end, even after 15 seasons. the stories were excellent and different from anything on TV at the time. But as good as the show was I always missed Grissom after William Peterson left. so I bought the first season with the original cast.

CSI was best when Grissom was on it, and season one proves it. The plots and acting are excellent. This season has weak extras and a poor menu system for the DVD itself, and the video quality is sometimes a bit VHS, but remember this series was shot back in the bad old days of 4:3 TV and VHS.

I bought season one when it was on sale, when season two came on sale for under 12 bucks it was a no brainer to gobble it up.

the first season of by far one of my favorite science based shows around. everyone should see the first season

Great series. This is the beginning of all CSI shows to come. Very good show. Loved it. On to season 2.

I LOVE THE SCIENCE OF THE SHOW AND HOW THEY FIND THE EVIDENCE AND CATCH THE BAD GUYS.

This is one of my favorite shows to watch. I am glad I was able to find it at Best Buy.

I already get 2 to 5th seasons, now i have this 1st season, im glad to bought this.

Very good, but these older shows were not high def and so there is an incompatibility concern as the show appears somewhat less than clear but still get the full effect of the original.

Love this series want to buy more - maybe all of them!

CSI was the first in the good crime show. The first and best. Watch it.

CSI was the first and best of the Crime Scene Investigation shows. The first season introduced us to Grissom, Katherine, Sarah, Warick and Nick, plus other great characters. The different storylines were interesting and unusual. Season one is a great start to a intriquing and well acted series.

When a great show has been on as long as the original CSI, it's easy to forget how great their very first season was. This one is great, although the standard DVD is in full screen format (not my favorite) but that's more telling of when the show started. Still well worth owning.

This is a great start to the series. It seems as though all the characters are adjusting to and trying to get comfortable with their character, but the cast is great and the story lines are riveting.

The first season of CSI is awesome, there are some great episodes that let viewers get to know Grissom, Catherine, Warrick, Nick, and Sara better. I reccomend everyone watch CSI and begin it with the first season.

Glad they are starting to put these on blu ray!!!!
