I'm loving this little ice cream maker! I wouldn't say it is super quiet. It has the little engine noise but at least there is no ice sound. It does get a little quieter the closer the ice cream is to getting done. Ice cream is produced quicker than the old-fashioned machines but tastes the same. Not as much mess!
