    These smart bulbs are great. They integrated well with my Google Home and Assistant. The different colors and settings are really good. We have our bulbs set up on our patio.

    Had no problem with set up, and lights work as advertised. I use google assistant or the google home app to change brightness or color effortlessly.

    How did I ever live with out these bulbs? You can use them for Halloween, birthday parties, Christmas, New Years Eve! Love them!

    Didn't Work. Disappointment by GE.

    I was excited about the product but the iOS app didn't work at all. To begin with, I was not able to create a C by GE account which was a must for using the bulb. It kept saying "Internet connection not found" although I was connected to Internet. Then I found that I had to turn off my VPN which I did and then the activation email was received. The activation email link didn't work though. It kept giving the "Server Error" (attached). Then I called GE Customer Service and they said it is a known issue and they don't have the estimated time for fix. I am not sure if this is temporary or permanent based on reviews I found within the C by GE app. Looks like I am not the first. Didn't expect this from a good brand like GE.

    C by GE App is not that good..LED turns ON out of nowhere. Yes out of nowhere in middle of night LED turns ON. Happened 2-3 times. This review is just after two weeks of use.

    If you ever want to live a happy life. Do not ever buy or use the word cync in your life. Horrible, horrendous and utter nonsense product ever manufactured in the known and unknown universe. Nothing about the product is smart infact the should change the product name to stupid bulb. When they do it then I will give 5 billion stars too.

    Within 6 months bulb would no longer light up at all, and the app would say it was working but it just wouldn’t light up, this tells me the inside board was probably still good but the actual lighting assembly failed

    I use these with my Google Home, making my home a smart home. I upgraded to all of these bulbs in my house, and I have had no issues using it with Google Home at all. I highly recommend setting these up on Google Home so you can take advantage of using voice commands. I honestly feel this is the best way to go. You also keep your light switches always looking clean and never dirty; and one less area to clean up, and worrying about germs and viruses will be a thing of the past, at least in those areas. I have used many other products in the past. Still, I found these to be the quickest and easiest to set up and install; even when I want to move a bulb to another area where I no longer want it in one location to factory reset it, there are excellent video tutorials on YouTube how to do everything that LG has put out. I also like how the bulbs are turned on and off; they don’t just abruptly turn on and off; they gradually turn on and off, which is much more aesthetically pleasing in your home. You will pay more for these, but you get what you pay for a great product.

    First off, the light itself is not the problem - I have only installed 1 bulb so far. Colors are great and bright. They are very comparable to my other lights (the original company). The problem lies with the app. Set up was very simple and it linked up with and was recognized by both Alexa and Google home. However, the app doesn't work 50% of the time as I can't get the app to turn on the light. I have the same issue with voice commands to either Alexa or Google Home - they will say the the light is not responding. When the app doesn't respond, signing out will require you to wait for a security code sent via email. After you enter the code, the sign in will be complete. Unfortunately, I also have issues where the app won't work even after entering the code - it just keeps "searching" like it is in a loop and won't continue. This is a pain as every time you log out you have to wait for the security code email to log back in. My light is downstairs and if I am upstairs and try to turn off the light, I usually have to go downstairs and just physically turn the light off. Thankfully, I paid half price for this set of light bulbs during a holiday sale. If GE can fix the app/connectivity issues, they could have a winner based on price and light bulb performance compared to the more expensive ones. Hopefully they fix the app issues sooner rather than later.

    These lights are quite the upgraded from traditional bulbs. They work well with the cync app and with Google home. I do have intermittent connection issues when looking at the lights on Google home but the cync app seems to connect reliably. Which CANNOT be said about the smart plugs. I do wish the cync app had more customizable features.

    Bought these while they were on sale. Works very well, setup was super easy in the Google Home app. Love the variety of colors you can select. I’ll knock on the this, occasionally when you attempt to turn off multiple lights on the app some will stay on. Other than that, great buy.

    Nice light bulb

    It a really good light bulb and the app is not that hard to connect. If there any issues just turn on and off the Bluetooth and restsrt the bulb by flipping the switch 5 times. That worked for me and hooked it up with google home and its amazing and easy to use. Has also routines to set up.
