    Doesn't connect directly to Google Assistant

    I thought this connected directly to Google Home and it does not. You first have to configure it to the GE APP and then to Google Home. Also setup is not quick. You have to use the adapter in most cases

    This is a really good product. I am able to automate my lights by setting a time to turn on and turn it off automatically.

    I like the idea. But wire installation guide is confusing. Also it kept on unplugging from house wifi both 2.4 and 5ghz

Our switches will only operate off of 2.4ghz wifi networks and may have issues attempting to connect to blended networks due to 5g taking priority.     Great idea however ge really needs to work out the glitches!!! So all the switches work with Alexa but in one room any one of the switches turns on all the lights in that room or pressed manually.when you call the support number no one is able to help troubleshoot this issue b

    Does not work as a switch without a basic a-type bulb kept flickering at certain settings then fried both my Fanimation fan and the switch.

    It looked great but I couldn't get it to work right, lights would not come on and off correctly. App was terrible, re installed my basic old switch an the lights worked fine again. Had to return.

    Never syncs with Google. Buy a Kasa dimmer, works way better and ways cheaper.

    Do Not Buy Unless You Want Random Strobe Lights

    Any time your internet has a weak signal or goes out, these switches turn your lights into extremely annoying strobe lights. These switches only work as intended when connected to wifi with a very strong signal. GE should have defaulted the switch behavior to work as a normal switch if the internet goes out, but they didn't. Based on my experience, I would recommend that you buy any other brand instead of these switches.

    Dimmer not working and would not connect to WiFi

    Bought the switch installed it and the only thing that worked was manually switching on and off using the center button. Connecting to WiFi failed and then would not even list any WiFi options. The upper and lower dimmer buttons did nothing. Possible dud.

    I would not recommend this product it flashes a Blu light and makes an annoying click when turned on. Sometimes it doesn't turn on when clicked.

    I’ve been looking for a smart switch that doesn’t need a hub or a neutral wire to control my dining room light. This one had all the features I was looking for so I gave it a try. I’m glad I did. It works perfectly! It is small enough to fit into my existing switch electrical box- this house was built in the 60’s so the boxes are small. I have old style Edison incandescent bulbs in my dining room so I no problem using a smart switch with no neutral wire. It was easy to set it up with the cync by GE app. Easily added it to my google home so I can use voice to control the switch. 5 stars!

    Misrepresenting product functions

    In general I was very exciting about switching over to the c smart line for multiple reasons. Number one was control from anywhere in the world so they said. I did one house in Az and for 6 months it was awesome. All of a sudden, I am unable to adjust preset automation for earlier sunrise later sunset. They tell me if that worked, it was a glitch.....what? they say you have to be at your WiFi , well why can I manually turn lights off and on from 2000 Miles away, but not make a change to automation? This is ridiculous and maybe they should follow that glitch because it’s a huge feature for those with vacation homes. I’m looking at getting out of any GE products at all three houses as a competitor is offering what looks to be a superior product that allows all features remotely.
