Welll at least the cat! Camera is great. Easy to set up and use. Not sure why I didn’t buy one before!

As a live view cam, this product was satisfactory. The set up was easy to do, the app controlling it was adequate but with no user manual was also confusing in several areas. The major drawback of the camera was the extremely poor motion detection. As a security camera this is critical and it simply was not adequate. It would recognize lights coming on and off as an event, but it simply would not recognize motion even when I stood in front of the camera. To be clear, there were some instances where it did recognize this, but in general it would not. This was a total deal breaker, why have a security camera that does not function? I have two other older tilt/pan D-Link cameras by the way, that was why I was interested in this one, but this one just did not do the job. I would absolutely not recommend this cam. Also, the D-link help desk was useless. I called before returning the item, but after being on hold for quite a while, they just hung up. Sorry I wasted my time on this one. You get what you pay for.

I take care of my brother that has dementia and I wanted to be able to check on him often to make sure he stays safe. This camera has little to no delay. Clear picture both daylight and night vision. It has sound. The only down fall is that it needs to be near an electrical outlet.

I love this little camera. I bought it to keep an eye on my parents who live out of state. The setup was easy. Less then 5 minutes of following cell phone prompts (confirm network name and info). The picture is pretty clear and has daytime (color picture) and night mode (black and white, lit by infrared light). This is SD card or Cloud storage (if you want) or you can just watch live-time. There is a function in the app to take pictures and videos of the live-time footage. Is wall mountable - if desired. I've only used it indoors. GREAT LITTLE CAMERA that does not break the bank. Would definitely buy again (and probably will). You can link multiple cameras up to the same software and view them all at once or click on a specific one and have the option to zoom in/out and hear sound.

Needed to put a camera at a location where internet service was difficult. I bought this together with the PTZ after explaining to the Best buy sales guy what i was looking for. He recommended this Camera with the PTZ. Didn't regret it!!! both worked perfectly with the mobile hotspot and the quality of feed is great. For the price i was shocked. The video, the sound and the clarity was what we were looking for. The notification of movement on point. The sd card was another great feature. I am happy with the functionality of this camera and the PTZ, the price was well worth it.

Got this camera on sale, overall an easy set up with app you have to download. You cant talk over this camera but can listen from it through the app. i got this camera to spy on my dog while Im at work and I link this to my alexa so i can talk to him. it takes awhile to toggle between the two apps but it works. sometimes the wifi connection drops but that is because i have a terrible network living in a remote location. It does have night vision and also notifies of activity. does not record unless u subscribe to a cloud service offered through the app. I dont use bc its not really for security purposes. There is a slot for a microSD if you want the recording capability. overall not bad for a camera.

Clear image. Works gret with wifi. Does record when asked to. Can purchase premium features. But free version is more than enough if you just want to use it to check on pets or family. Downside has bno speaker but you can hear the suroundings. Nightvision is pretty clear.

The camera is easy to install and set up. Good quality. Wish it has speakers so I can talk to the camera. Other than that. Thumbs up!

We wanted a camera that didn't require batteries and an SD card for saving videos. This does both. The camera only records when it detects noise or a motion and sends you a notification immediately. You can access the videos on the DLink app which works great. You have the ability to go onto the app and watch the camera live and take photos and record video if needed. The videos are saved to the cloud for 24 hrs for free unless you pay a subscriptions bt 24hrs seems long enough. Great nightvision. The quality is only 720 but for the price this camera works amazingly well.

It was easy to install and configure it by myself. Also, it has HD quality and video flow is very smooth.

This camera has a decent app to control options on your phone ... Some options were motion detection with messaging .. so u get a message if it is tripped ..the camera has good picture and great audio .. it was easy to hook up to my wireless router ...

I have had this device for about 6 months now. I wanted to make sure that I used it well before reviewing it. Pros:When it works it works fine, The picture is clear and it motion detection is great. I love the fact that I can use either a micro sd or online storage. I dislike ring for that. Cons: My biggest (and disappointing) issue is the fact that is keeps disconnecting from the internet. I am always getting an app notification that the device is disconnected. I have tried resetting the internet connection, removing the device and reconnecting it, moved it right next to my modem, still disconnects. I am highly disappointed and to think that I bought 2 devices.

I needed a simple web camera that I could setup in my moms home to be her “second set of eyes from afar” that would not require little to no maintenance. I installed this camera in June 2018 and has worked flawlessly. Very happy.

Camera has good picture and sound quality. Fairly simple to set up. Unfortunately have to pay for subscription to reach full potential of camera. Another downfall is having to keep your device on to monitor camera, notifications are not very good or responsive.

A little peace of mind. Set up was a real task, taking over an hour with a phone call. The support was awesome, even though unable to fully utilize the One-tap feature. Not a big deal. The rest of the setup was easy. The video is quite good. Overall, very pleased.

We bought this as an upgrade to a camera to keep an eye on our child. It works great and provides a wide viewing angle. The night vision is pretty clear as well. The app crashes sometimes when open for a lengthy time so it has bugs that need to be worked out.

This is one of my favorite cameras it is easy to hook up it stays online. It's send great notifications.

I got this camera to spy on my dogs. The app is easy to use, and the camera works well. Sound is good. When I had a problem with the camera, I called customer service and they quickly told me what to do to fix it.

Small But Mighty . great picture quality . night vision or color I have five of them they are awesome

Easy to use, compact. I can monitor from my iPad, cell phone. Very reasonably priced, quick setup.
