Love it . Great camera to have and good way to communicate with people using the mic and speaker.

Use this for inside the house. Its great on notifying me via phone when a loud noise happens and im not home. I can move it any direction i need to see. Helped alot while I was out of state 3000miles away. I was still able to see inside the house.

I liked for a while before purchasing this unit. In the end there are many less expensive units though when you look at the details about the server agreements the less expensive until promise no security or privacy. As this unit triggers consistently with motion, sound and lighting changes I would not want all of tat footage floating around the internet. The unit itself is well-constructed and has a well-designed app that has worked well since the day of installation. The only con I have had with the app is that the sound is not always there when I watch a stored clip on my phone. It is however present in any downloaded clip without fail. Remote control of the PT function is excellent.

CONCLUSION: - expensive for a 2MP camera. - performance is middling at best. - impossible to setup or configure without internet access. - at the $100 price point there are many, many other choices with better video, capabilities, and software. DETAIL The camera performance is just middling, not very impressive at all given the price. In addition to the sharpness and clarity being below standard, mine doesn't turn the night light on or off correctly. So daytime looks grey, but nighttime things look pinkish or purple. And let's just say that a slightly out of focus look combined with funny colors doesn't work well. In addition, it's pricey for a 2MP cam ... but what's worse is that I see nothing in the cam to justify the cost. (The fact that mine may need to be returned obviously colors my opinion.) The software app is okay. It wants to be your home automation center, and if you wish to write instructions to your devices in it you'll find it a bit complicated. But the app and the cam must be able to talk to the internet or you cannot configure it. If you're like me and you block cams' internet access at the router this is a problem. Or, if you have poor internet access. Given you can get 4MP (or higher) cams that produce better images/video for the same price or lower, there's no reason to recommend this camera.

Great video quality! A little difficult to move the camera view from the app, but overall it gets the job done.

Purchased this camera after a break-in. Easy to set up, easy to use and I can see what's going on in my home from anywhere there is access to wi-fi from my phone. Worth every penny for the peace of mind.

I wish it had better storage options, but it clearly states what it is on the box. Good picture quality.

Camera is great quality and notifies you of alerts right away. A little slow in response but still a good camera.

Very easy setup. Love how you have different type of notifications options settings. Great transition from day and night. Great view from mobile app. Clear communication from camera to app and vice versa. Can be linked to other cameras if need to be.

Overall this camera works very well. When controlling it from your mobile device is does freeze up every now and again... Good thing is you only have to sign out and sing back in again and everything works fine. We got this camera because we got a new puppy and wanted to be able to check in on them, and it works great and gives you piece of mind knowing everything is OK when your away from home! Overall, great purchase!!

I purchased this camera to only monitor my remote 3D printer, not for any type of security monitoring. Have always had good results with D-Link hardware The picture resolutions quality is either 720 or 1080lp, however 1080 increases the latency of control functions. As mentioned in the Summary, the app is one of the worst I think I have ever seen. The Pan/ Tilt function are hard to manage , the jerkiness caused by the slow picture return"latency" and the touch sensitivity on the controlling device are a challenge to say the least.We have tried both Wireless and Ethernet connections, both giving the same results. If you P/T in a zoomed i mode the digital P/T function is very consistent and woks well. We are currently researching a different control app. Would not recommend for security use! I base this on professional experience with CCTV systems and physical security.

I use this in my small apartment and I can not only get notifications about motion detections straight to my phone but I can also keep an eye on my pets when I am not home. Even when maintenance comes to my apartment I know immediately.

It is a good camera. It is expensive for what it does. Found something equivalent for much cheaper.

Easy to use, set up and monitor home remotely. Took some adjusting to set appropriate sensitivity.

Quality of picture good but it’s a bit difficult to set up- seemed harder than it needed to be

This is a great product except that you cannot use a PC browser to see images on the camera, i.e. you must use a cell phone based app. Not a huge problem. I view all my D-Link devices [now 5] in one place, It was very easy to configure the new camera. Note that specs say it is indoor use but if you have a weather protected spot outdoor works fine especially with swivel & tilt ability

I love that this camera has a two way radio. It allows me to listen in when my dogs are barking and also allows me to speak to them if I need to. The quality of picture is fantastic!! Specially at night/ when the lights are off.

Very easy to set up. Only not compatible with the scan disk micro sd card.
