If you enjoy demon souls,Dark souls, you will no doubt enjoy Dark souls 2.The game offers very nice customizing options for your character and the way you play.It's a difficult yet rewarding game who will definitely challenge you and keep you interested.

Combat a little clunky, but tons of content and exploration

I've played the ps3 version and put in about 150 hours and still the ps4 version got me hooked again with the upgrades. Only draw back is that I can't transfer the save files over but oh well I'm still having fun starting over.

I highly recommend this game. The graphics were gorgeous and took an already fun game and made it like a moving painting the whole time you're dying every 30 seconds (it is Dark Souls after all). Definitely give this a shot.

I purchased the first game and loved it since then. I bought this game and even though it is not considered as good as the first it is still brings that type of great action with a hard difficulty that is not unfair.

Excellent game. After playing Bloodborne I decided to give this game a try and I am loving it. It is very difficult at times but so worth it especially boss fights.

Everything that was changed since DS2 is awesome. Different enemy placements, 60FPS, better lgihting, etc. Plus the ability to have up to four people at a time helping you with boss fights can really make things easier!

The niche, per se, of Dark Souls is that it is really difficult, and the developers know this; there is even a trophy for the first time you die. It is a great, in-depth RPG that is challenging but rewarding.

Great game for experienced players. Would not suggest for beginners. This game has great graphics, and fun action. This games will keep your attention, and you'll have a hard time putting down the controller!

Some deride DS2 as being made by the Fromsoft "B" team, but I found this outing a pleasing game. I still like Dark souls 1 and bloodborne more, but this is a fine game, and worth of the dark souls name

Loved the original game, but this one is in another level. Not only the graphics are amazing in 1080p/60fps, but also all the changes in item/enemy placements makes the game feel like new. 10/10 for me.

It's the greatness that was dark souls 2 from last gem however there are a few bugs that make it not worth the purchase for a few months until the bugs are addressed in an update and it is cheaper. The servers are very touchy and I am still unable to connect to the servers since buying it day one about a month ago so o haven't been able to do any online play. I thoroughly investigated the server issues and there is no solution given, just a number of complaints on message boards from people with the same problem. The weapon degradation bug is a major problem. To the point that I have gone through three different swords fighting one boss because they degrade soooo ridiculously quickly. I haven't played it in about a week as I've been out of town but as of last Monday the glitch was still present. Aside from these two bugs that will undoubtedly eventually be addressed it is as great as it was on the PS3/Xbox360. It just recommend waiting on the purchase until then.

I had this game on the PS3 and just bought a PS4, so I wanted to see what it was capable of. I really like this game and it is even better on the PS4 than the PS3, which I originally had it for.

This is my third time buying and playing through this game (360, PC, ps4) and I love it every time. One of my fav games of the past year. Recommended to any fan of the series and to newcomers alike.

This is one of those titles begging for the next gen treatment and it does not disappoint everything that made this game great has improved so you just can't go wrong with this must own game.

Game only got better since its release. DS2 was great but this game fixes everything that bothered me and makes the game much more enjoyable and comes with all DLC 10/10 would buy again

The game is totally awesome I could not stop playing it I played it all weekend and I was late for work on Monday. I was almost fired.

Just as good as it was on the other platforms, more enchanced graphics faster framerate. Must buy especially for those who missed out on this game when it originally came out!

This game is great if you have a lot of time and patience. Takes time to level character but once you get going in the game it is very hard to stop bosses become more and more challenging and character gains more powerful weapons and armor.

Dark Souls is an awesome game that is better than the First Dark Souls with more challenges and great graphics. If your a fan of the first one, you wont be disappointed in this one.
