All my files were transferred to an external hard drive so I could work off either of my computers. Also wanted to get any personal files off computer for security reasons. This was done by the Geek Squad and I am completely satisfied.

I have used this service 3 times so far. Each time, I have been so happy with the people who have helped me through my computer problems and questions. They never act rushed and are competent and polite. Well worth my money.

When you buy a new computer you take your old one give it to The Geek Squad and I guarantee they will have everything done that you need they can transfer all your information or data they work phenomenally take it in they get done and you get it back.

Well taken care of for my wife's computer for tune up and corrections needed as it hadn't been working right. Plus the backup that was done was definitely needed. Staff member who took care of us was great and respectful

After our computer crashed, Geek Squad was able to save our hard drive data, reinstall the operating system, and then reinstall the hard drive data from a back up drive. There were no issues at all.

Bought through Geek Squad to back up a bad hard drive. The drive is now used to back up my current hard drive. Easy set up, large drive size and small foot print. No additional electrical connection like my old backup drive is nice.

I was needing to transfer my information from my broken laptop and the Geek Squad tech recommended for me to purchase a new external and the data transfer would be included with the cost. I needed a new external so this worked out.

Wasn't planning on getting a touch screen, but the young man that helped me didn't have the one I wanted in Stock. After being so helpful in explaining the features on many laptops, we looked at the refurbished ones and found a really good deal for me.

The technician downloaded all the information from one of my drives. Failed to do the second drive & deleted all of my important files in that process. Do yourself a favor & do your own back ups before you allow someone to do it for you The drive functions, the service was not good.

I was very satisfied with the technician even though the data backup did not work and my hard drive had to go out for recovery. He answered my questions and explained the process the hard disc had to go through.

An excellent job in recovering my data but fell short on recovering my email and getting it set up. All past email and contacts gone. No worries, I had a relative help me get it set up again but we could not find my .bak file for Outlook.

Once again my laptop was acting up and Geek Squad recommended data back up and transfer to external hard drive. This service took less time than I was quoted, which is always a plus. Great service from friendly and knowledgeable agents.

This is my second WD passport backup. My 1st croaked. This is less than half the size and double the capacity. Geek Squad did my initial backup and educated me on using the Windows backup feature, cool. Pretty happy with the results.

Best Buy was great to work with. I had an issue with my computer which required data to be pulled from my laptop. Though you have to invest in a hard drive to do so, if you don't have one its a great investment. If you do, just make sure to bring in your current hard drive to back up your data on.

Getting the geekvsquad assistance / service program is the best thing I have ever done . Many issues can be done over the phone . Whenever I visit them at the store they are awesome at helping me with any issue.

Geek Squad always seems to be super busy so I had to wait a while for this service to be completed. But what I asked for was delivered and at the end of the day, I would go back to Geek Squad because I liked the results. I wish I didn't have to wait as long but I still ended up being satisfied.

Had my laptop in for repair, found that it could not be repaired, they sent it off, and came back with, REPLACE THE ITEM. In short order I had a new laptop and they reinstalled my backup data. Great service.

My desktop wouldn't turn on and I was afraid I had lost everything. The tech was very courtesy and professional and explain the process to me. I was put at ease with his solution that best fit me at the time.
