I had some issues with the agent coming out to my house, bad weather & agent's illness & was told I'd have to wait another 2 weeks. I had already waited 4 weeks. I spoke to Michael Seaton who resolved the situation Had someone at me house in a couple days. Then I had to bring in my computer because there was a problem with Web Root. At the Paducah store 2 guys were exceptional, Agent Curtis & Bryce (he does the repairs). They were very patient, explained things to me ,knew what they were talking about. Can't say enough good things about them

I recently purchased a new Dell desktop and Office 2016 software. I'm not very techy so asked that the Geek Squad transfer my data. They did this in a timely way and set my computer up so that I could "dive in" when I got it home. Shortly after I started using the PC I began having trouble with the monitor, which was not new, flickering on and off. I took the PC and the monitor to the store for GS to diagnose the problem. Their fix was to reload the OS and software and they told me the monitor was fine. No it wasn't, as the flickering recurred as soon as I started using it again. I called Dell and Samsung who both suggested that the problem was the monitor. I bought a new monitor at Best Buy, hooked it up and have had no problems since. The GS techs were polite and patient, but I feel they didn't take the time to actually check out my old monitor-new PC compatibility, causing me two extra trips to the store and some aggravation!

Agent Bernie Klein saved the day for our new computer system installation by retrieving all the data from an old, failing terabyte hard drive. Agent Klein said without his special GEEK Squad equipment he might not have been able to save our data. In the end, after he had made several attempts to retrieve the data using various GEEK Squad techniques, the data was successfully transferred to our new computer.

I recently replaced a couple of Windows 7 for Windows 10 computers. I was initially going to reload my saved files from my old external backup hard drive, but decided to take advantage of the Geek Squad's Date Transfer service. I'm glad I did so as my old backup software failed to launch in the Windows 10 environment. Without the Geek Squad's Data Transfer service, I'm not sure what I would have done and my business and personal files would be in "cyber-limbo."

The Geek Squad came out, when they said they would, and they had all the information off my old computer and transferred to the new one I bought and I have not had ANY issues! All my files were exactly like they were on the old one, nothing missing! I had heard horror stories about files being moved around and even when one file was opened, the document was blank! I was really worried but I have not had that problem and I know it's because of how well trained and informed the Geek Squad is! Thank you Geek Squad!

The Geek Squad agent installed my new HP laptop on 8/19/20. Most of the results were fine, although some of the data I wanted transferred from my old computer was not done. I didn't notice until after the agent had left. I had a number of questions afterward, which of course was to be expected. I called the agent twice, using the number he gave me, but he never returned my calls. That was disappointing. I had to go to HP customer service to get some of these questions resolved, but some are still not answered.

I have had a previous experience with the Geek Squad many many years ago and they have come a long way!!! I had them come to my home and transfer my very old computer information to my new computer and it was well worth the money. Would do it again. I also had an issue after I was working on my computer with someone trying to hack in and I just made one phone call to the Geek Squad and they solved the problem completely. Very Happy

The data from my other computer was transferred successfully - at least 95% of what I was using on the other computer is now on my new one. The other 5% that did not transfer was probably due to my use of specific fonts for some projects that are not available on the new computer - which is not a problem for me. Happy to have it as successful as it was, and didn't expect to be able to have this done.

Kent Filkins (Double Agent 12799) did a great job setting up the Computer. He did a great job showing us how to use the computer. He went over the different programs that come with the computer. He asked us if we had any questions and gave us easy to understand answers. Kent Filkins is a great reprehensive for Best Buy.

Two visits one to my home to update my desktop - Geek Squad was just great. The most recent visit was to bring in my Surface Pro due to a lock out problem. They service they provided recently was great as well which is why I have them. I couldn't ask for better service! Thank you, Middletown Geek Squad!

I shop at Best Buy because of the GEEK SQUAD. I have always found them to be helpful, cheerful, on time, and very patient with this non tech older woman. So the upshot is I would not buy much of anything without asking for Geek Squad help in getting it set up and running and explaining it all to me......

Shawn did a great job with the data transfer. He completed all the items that we required. He was very professional, competent, and excellent in explaining what was needed. He answered all our questions to our satisfaction. Based upon his performance, we would certainly recommend him to everyone!

Extremely satisfied that the "Geek Squad" was able to transfer and recover all my information. As a proud Mother of 2 and Grandmother of 6....pictures are a very important part of my memories, and the "Geek Squad" was able to do that for me. There were some files that originally did not transfer, and the "Squad" asked for information as to how to recover those files. Completely successful in the process!

Agent did a great job transferring data from my old computer to my new one. He was very easy to work with. My new computer is much faster than my old one. And the agent set it up so I can easily add names to my groups, and have them listed by first name instead of last name (especially important for class reunion lists.)

Chris, our agent, did a GREAT JOB of transferring tons of data from my old HP desktop onto my new iMac. I work from my home and wanted all my old emails and docs set up a certain way on the iMac -- Chris made that happen and I was able to make the transition from the HP to the iMac with no problems at all. Great job and great customer service attitude!

Had two hard drives on my old computer. Everything was consolidated into the new all-in-one. A lot of useless information was removed, the hard drives were returned to me (not kept by the Geek Squad tech). The only thing that could not be accomplished was the transfer of my iTunes .... and it was a simple phone call to iTunes the next day to get that done.

As always I was very satisfied with the geek service. These guys really know their stuff. I only wish he had warned me about the computer I had bought the yoga is not a good computer but then it was not his job to tell me my purchase was a bad one he got it hooked up and running and that was his job

I'm technically challenged with new computers,and the installer was courteous,knowegable and very informative. He took the time to answer ALL my questions with explicit answers and even had a few "going forward" suggestions for me. Very happy with this service and your service personnel.

Josh reviewed all things, asked many questions so he knew what needed to be done. I appreciated his thoroughness very much. I had tons of photos there and he carefully reinstalled my iMac so all my photos were saved and cleaned up the mess I created. He did a fantastic job

Geek Squad came out to my home and transferred my data from one computer to the new one I had just purchased. I have found out that any problem is not too small for the geek squad whether I call them, have them come to my house or go to the store. Always helpful.
