    Great game for its time. Fun while it lasted, you have to buy everything now, you unlock crap. All the good stuff is micro transaction, garbage

    In an effort to keep up with all the Super Powered fighting games, Tecmo changes their established formula decreasing the value of their game. They've added a new "Special" attack which makes the game unbearably easy and broken. The story mode is disjointed and adds very little to main story of the franchise. The in-game unlockable feature has also gotten worse. Most of the in-game costumes are just color variations (proving again that Tecmo is more interested in getting you to buy the overpriced DLC for the game). In order to unlock these lack luster items you have to unlock patterns randomly. Then when you have completed a full pattern you have to use the in-game currency to purchase them. The only thing that saves this game is the addition of DOA Quest mode. In this mode you have to accomplish three challenges that require you to actually play the game.

    This good looks and feels great. The levels are amazing and there are multiple objectives to complete once the main story is done for obtaining items and accessories for the characters.

    I like the second one and the 3ds version. This one is ok, some cool combos and basic characters. Definitely has a steep learning curve but for now, it’s ok on sale for $15

    I love fighting games and have mainly stuck with the Tekken series but I had to try this one and it is so so cool. A new series for me to love!!!

    As my summary says, the game is solid, hence my average score, but the zany action from previous games has been scaled back and is even missing is some case. Can't throw an opponent off the edge of a stage anymore? Why not?
