Start's off slow, but ramps up and becomes one of the best PlayStation games ever made. The Director's Cut add many improvements that help the journey through a postapocalyptic America go smoother. The story is eclectic, but interesting. Kojima's vision is strange, but compelling and pushes the player further than they want to go in a session, wanting to uncover the mysteries surrounding Sam and BB. Simply a must play!

The Director's cut is a lot better than the original version. There is more drama, and towards the end, this version explains a lot more about Sam. One thing that wasn't good was having to repeat some 'deliveries'. After completing a mission, when you come back later on, it wants the same mission done again.

no loot box bs no garbage at targeting kids to spend their parents money. a good ole fashioned immersive world, fantastic story, and an insanely unique and immersive gameplay loop!

Not only an amazing game from a gameplay standpoint but also an immersive story featuring a star studded cast. You'll go on an amazing journey with this game.

I will be totally honest, Death Stranding was absolutely boring the first time i played it. It looked phenomenal but all you do is play delivery boy with a convoluted story. I gave it another go around and man did it click for whatever reason. The story takes some time to understand and the gameplay is not for everyone, but for me it turned into an experience i wish i could relive again blind. It has become one of my favorite games of all time!

Overall it’s a great game. I purchased it on console due to my pc issues. Graphics are great, storyline is great. Definitely one of my favorite games. Recommend to anyone into RPG.

Pefect game, amazing music, amazing graphics, amazing story

Good game. Both a fan and not a fan of all the walking done in the game which is why I gave it a 4 star review. Awesome story done here. It’s definitely worth a pickup.

The game is great, the graphics are amazing but it's also not for everyone. If you have the money or if it's on sale pick it up and try it out! Also Norman Reedus is here so that's a plus

Have yet to play this game, but I've heard great things about this story and I'm excited to immerse myself in the world. Came well packaged.

I love Kojima. I mean, I find the excessively long dialogue and cut scenes annoying - sure - but in the fun kind of way. There's a certain nostalgia to them, like a particular era and type of film you remember watching as a kid. But that aside, I really appreciate that Kojima games always try something new and really out there. I picked this up at a great sale price and so glad I did because there is a second one coming out!

This is one of my favorite games of all time. There are a lot of people who call this a "movie game"; yes it has cutscenes and the graphics are lifelike, but my enjoyment of this game comes from the gameplay itself, which I find to be very engaging and fun. On top of that, the overall mood that the game creates is unique and interesting.

Excellent game. Highly recommend giving this game a shot. It’s not what you think it is so just stick with it. Crazy story.

The graphics are simply stunning. The soundtrack by Low Roar running throughout the game is sublime and fits perfectly to the gameplay. It can get quite emotional at times. The gameplay is somewhat slow but that's perfect for me to de-stress after a hard day at work. The story is strong and engaging, this is behind the mind of Hideo Kojima. I would definitely recommend.

The game is great, my son really enjoyed it. Picking it up was a very smooth process.

This is a good game with a great graphics, story and characters. The game centers around making deliveries but the gameplay loop is very addicting as there are many ways of tackling your missions. You will have access to equipment, vehiclesband resources from other players online to help complete your missions.

Best game I’ve ever played. Not for everyone, but certainly for me. I found myself immersed in the world and the characters, which are all full of emotion and character, with the excellent facial capture technology and the phenomenal acting of Norman Reedus as Sam Bridges. This is the most beautiful stories ever told and the greatest game of all time.

Although I did not finish this game, I can recommend it due to it being genuinely and wholly unique. Kojima and his team have created a tolkein-esque world that creates new tropes and dynamics within the video game genre. Have to respect it.

If you want a good story, this is that game! Looks excellent on the new gen console! I didn’t know what to expect when I bought it, but it exceeded my expectations. It’s not the most action packed game, but the story, characters, world building, musical score, and the ambiguous nature of the game all make up for it! I recommend giving Death Stranding a try!

Always heard middling things about this game but found a beautiful and surprisingly addicting experience that's both unique and rewarding. Exercise a little patience and your efforts will be rewarded!!
