Death Stranding Director’s Cut on PS5 is a vast improvement over the original PS4 version. The upgraded graphics, smoother frame rates, and faster loading times make a huge difference in the overall experience. The new content and features add even more depth to an already unique game, making it feel fresh and engaging all over again.
If you enjoyed the original or are looking to experience it for the first time, this is the definitive version to play. Absolutely worth the upgrade!

Great game, definitely not a walking simulator. If you like being your own manager and helping solve world problems this game is a must. Thought provoking story and crazy how the game predicted Covid.

I beat this game and loved it!! Still love it, and play it even after beating it. The story was great. The story and action in the beginning felt a little slow/ dragged out but immediately picked up and got better.

This game is one of a kind! I have never played a Kojima game, so I am new to his games. This game is a masterpiece! The prologue had me hooked. I know the game is a "walking simulator" but I don't think so. One can traverse mountains, cliffs, and valleys which brings amazing background shots and gets you immersed into the journey as a porter. The journey is a deep and beautiful experience which not many games can master. This game pairs well with a 4k TV. The soundtrack is amazing! It suits the game really well. For those getting into the game for the first time, take your time and enjoy every aspect of the game. For those who stopped playing the game, I suggest getting back in because the new features of the Director's Cut make the experience better.

Seems like a game worth playing as the 2nd part of the series was released. I can see why running around in the game is kinda annoying, but brings an open-world charm to it.

I got my hands on "Death Stranding" and, wow, what a ride! Playing as Sam and delivering stuff across a freaky, post-apocalyptic America was something else. The landscapes are crazy beautiful, but man, getting through them can be a real pain sometimes. It's not your usual run-and-gun game; it's more about planning your route and balancing loads, which can be kinda cool but also a bit slow at times.
The story? Super deep and sometimes a bit too wild to follow, but it's got its moments. I mean, it's Kojima, so you know you're in for some weirdness. Overall, it's one of those games you either love or just don't get. I'm glad I gave it a shot – it's not something I'd play every day, but definitely cool in its own weird way.

Hideo Kojima's first game after Metal Gear and I think he did a pretty good job. The story is unique, and the graphics and the acting is top notch. The beginning could be boring to some but as you go farther in the game its gets better and better.

Not for everyone. The game is slow paced for the first few hours, and really nails home how dreary the protagonist's job is. A delivery man in a world stuck inside. Hit a little too close to home with all the lockdowns over the course of the pandemic. Worth a playthrough as the game goes full Kojima once you really get into it.
