I am very picky on the selection of the equipment I use as I use it for company business and it is critical on speed and functionality. This equipment surpassed my expectations and has not let me down so far... i am a tough/strong user on the equipment. I understand due to it being compact, the battery does not last as long... but overall it is a HUGE laptop spite its compact size!!!!

This laptop exceeded my expectations. I loved the fact that it is out of the box ready. I started online classes immediately. This computer is super responsive and I love the finger print reader, it allows for quick boot up when the computer has been sleeping. It's super quick and I love the option of using the pen. It helps with data maps and being able to label maps quickly.

Definitely an A1 computer! Screen is extremely vivid, sound is crisp, keyboard is tight and balanced. Overall build quality is second to none. The two con's I've noticed are: the screen will slightly yellow when scrolling through an internet page and some bluetooth separation when connected to my speakers. Not sure if it's a windows problem or the computer itself! Sure glad I made the purchase.

I've always been a fan of Dell, but wow. Aside from the pretty cool Dell Active Pen that was included, this laptop was awful to use because of two main caveats: 1. Out of the box, the battery only last 2 hours at best with workloads that included nothing more than Microsoft Office or TeamViewer. 2. (I'm wondering if this was just a defective model, but regardless) This thing ran HOT. On the aforementioned workloads, I couldn't keep this thing on my lap without burning myself. Ended up returning it and going for the XPS instead.

I have owned many laptops and tablets over the years, different manufacturers, etc... this was quick setup, and worked well out of the box, decent digital pen experience, does heat up over a prolonged period 4 or 5 hours continuous use. Using with a stand and a dell 4k 3100 docking station and multiple monitors

This laptop isn't top level but, it is fine, affordable laptop for my a few graphic works at home. I would recommend to someone who will use this with larger main monitor separately because of the small screen size and the intense heat from the bottom face. You leave it with desk is fine but, not on your knee. In general, it is fast with out any error and I am satisfied so far.

The touch screen option, along with the keyboard selection, is super versatile and easy to use. I especially like the 2-in-1 feature that allows me to switch from a laptop to a tablet! This is my 2nd Dell product and I am impressed with the hardware and its inner workings. A MUST buy!!!

I bought this Dell - Inspiron 13.3" 7000 2-in-1 4K Ultra HD in the deal of the day offer. It is a excellent buy. Looks very good and is performing very well. Light and easy to carry around. Screen is very clear, Got a couple of 27 inch monitors to hook up to it when working from home.

If you are looking for a work with great screen and don't bother about the limited RAM, then this is one for you. But if you are serious coder or gamer, this one can't deliver the power required. I would recommend it for a friend who just needs a daily driver for work

Since I got this laptop I was charmed to its size, weight and power shown in the advertisement and base on the specs it looks like it truly worths the price. Please do not buy this laptop unless you want to deal with frequent freezing/crashes. Look for reviews on the web it is full of complaints and lack of solutions. In my case I tried every available option from folks ga ing same issue but for me it is not working. Now looking after Dell support/warranty.

      jucerivi,

We're sorry to hear about the freezes that you've been experiencing. We'd recommend the following steps to help with this issue:

      1. Run a Computer Diagnostic. To determine if your computer is experiencing a hardware problem, run the Dell Preboot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics. For information on how to run Diagnostics, and to determine the issue, refer to Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2iaiujA.
      2. Check Safe Mode for Symptoms. To boot into safe mode, please follow the instructions below:
      a) Start the computer.
      b) Tap 'F8' on the keyboard immediately and every one second until the Dell logo screen disappears. From there you will see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen. (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.)
      c) Select Safe mode with Networking and press Enter.
      d) Log on as the administrator or as a user with administrative access.
      e) Open applications and test the computer in safe mode. If the symptoms exist in safe mode, please continue the troubleshooting steps in this article. If the symptoms do not exist in safe mode, the issue is likely related to a driver or software and you may wish to complete step 3 to see if you are able to resolve the lockups or freezing.
      3. Check for Malware. Malware (Virus, Spyware, etc.) can definitely cause a Windows system to lock up or appear to hang. To check for malware on your system and to ensure that your computer is up to date on security software, visit Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2wWP1zI.

So, this is my 1st small laptop as I've always had 17inch but decided to go small. I like the size and operation of the laptop. Great graphics. I keep having to reset the BIOS defaults as it keeps having issues with various devices, wifi device, screen rotation function, etc. Dell support has been helpful

Dell is my thing and this laptop is just something one would love! The Ultra HD Touch Screen and it’s speed is good. And since it folds backwards, this is an icing on the cake!! Especially if you feel like working on the couch or in bed.

      Swill1509,

Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear about the temperature on the system that you decided to return. Here are some tips to help keep your computer running at a cooler temperature:

      Tips for Proper Usage:

      1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
      2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
      3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
      4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
      5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
      6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

Nice laptop. Fast boot up and works great. This biggest downfall and it is a known issue, but I purchased anyway hoping a fix would be developed, the fan is loud and runs constantly whether on power or battery. Not sure why, I have similar Dell models that do not have the issue.

Very happy with my purchase! Fast and has a great display! Great for editing photos and browsing the web. Would have preferred if they went with another USB C port rather than the old barrel charger and if they had added support HDR, but otherwise I have no complaints!
