As mentioned in the title, great for school. Runs smoothly. One problem it has is the heat and battery. Battery only lasts about 3-5 hours. And the cpu heats up so much it makes my table slightly warm as well.

Purchased for my wife and she desired a laptop that performed better than an old one she had. It has an Intel i7 processor, 16 gig of ram, and a 512 GB SSD. Also has touch screen, facial recognition, higher screen resolution, and a back lite keyboard. She is very happy using it because if boots up quickly.

Change is good. I had been using an Acer which was literally falling apart.So after writing down what I wanted. I started going thru laptop reviews and decided on this one and I am quite pleased with my decision. Time will tell, but right now I love the speed,,,EVERYTHING is faster and I enjoy the 4K screen.

I bought it while it was the deal of the day for $900 and it is a good working laptop. The quality of the picture is awesome especially the blue color of the screen is fabulous. The bad sides are the keyboard, which does not include the number pad and the sound comes from the back of the laptop which I do not like, but still the sound quality is not weak and could be assumed acceptable.

My wife thinks it's great...She had a high-end HP that I bought her, it started giving her trouble after only two years, disappointing!...I've always been a Dell guy and when I saw this on sale, I grabbed it for her...She does a lot of Photoshop and Lightroom so she needed power, lots of ram and a great graphic card...Bingo a winner!!!....

Two very basic and annoying problem with this laptop are- 1. Fan sound - the fan always makes sound, I had much older laptops before and they didn't do this. Sometimes it's so much that it feels like there is a Jet engine running in my desk !!! It doesn't matter how man apps running. The sound is almost permanent. 2. Loudspeaker - frankly speaking it's really bad. I played Avengers Endgame theme song on loudspeaker and at some point it sounded like my laptop is gonna explode. There is a lingering "screech" sound coming from the side of SD card port. In both cases, I am dealing with these problems by using a headphone pretty much all the time. I don't wanna go through the trouble of a return. Other than these 2 issues, laptop seems great. I do hope DELL fix this. It will become a TOP rank laptop if they resolve these.

It does what it should do. The screen looks sharp. One thing I didn't feel well is the sound when running seems a little louder than the other Dell I purchased with almost same hard wares.

Clear picture. Fast. Easy sign in with facial scan in 10 or so seconds from start up.

Very great laptop, fast processor. Touch screen is also great. Would definetly recommend.

We bought this for my wife as she is starting her photography as a business and I wanted to to have her own computer for it. The specs and features are great (face ID to log in...). I wasn't a huge believer in 4k (I'm done being an early adopter) but after seeing her screen, we're in the market for a 4k tv and have started buting 4k Blu-rays. The colors are so rich and crisp. We pulled up YouTube and watched a Disney fireworks show and I was absolutely stunned.

I got a very good deal, $500 cheaper. You can't miss it.

Audio is scratchy wish would have tested more before time for return ran out

Well, we've had trouble in the past with Dell laptops, so I was a bit leery to get this one. However, for the most part it has been a great laptop. Occasionally it goes to the black screen of death for no reason, but it seems to always be fine after a restart!!

This computer is super fast to load when it starts up and we love it. We have owned many Dell Computers and some other brands and this is the best laptop ever. The customer service at Best Buy is also fantastic.

My old laptop was driving me nuts because the response time was so slow. I'm glad to say this one is much quicker to start up in addition to fast response times. The facial recognition to unlock it is pretty slick as is the backlit keyboard.

It's great product and my son is really loved it. It's a great product for college students.
