Great computer for a student at a great price!!!!!

For the price this is a great laptop for a student

Dell - Inspiron 15.6" Laptop - AMD A6-Series - 4GB Memory - AMD Radeon R4 - 500GB Hard Drive - Black. Very nice little laptop for the money - hard to find a DVD player these days. Fast, 4GB is sufficient for general use, nice keyboard layout, and a real HD! Overall not a glorified tablet but a real computer, very pleased.

Although price was reasonable, I feel the quality a lil outdated. This would be a perfect laptop for young kids, however any serious work or internet usage will cause an extreme head ache due to lagging

I purchased the computer for my everyday needs and to do some video editing from home. My boyfriend convinced me to return it because the specs were pretty low but then there was the other glaring thing. When the computer was powered on you could see what looked to be dog hair caught behind the screen. This was an open box item yes but it was supposed to be Geek Squad approved and I felt like it was weird that this would have slipped by someone. Though I brought it to a location close to me after the fourteen days (I bought it but didn't take it on a trip I was on for most of the 14 day period) when I showed the Geek Squad tech and asked if he could fix that (I buy the protection plan) he offered store credit for the computer.

I had this laptop 2 years. I loved it especially the 10-key touch on the side. Once I got it up & running it was pretty much everything I needed, from online courses, to leisure time to watching movies.

Great price (about $200 on sale) but not impressed. Slow. Very slow. Hard to plug in power supply, printer cable, etc - slots too tight or small or something.

My daughter needed a new laptop so I chose this model. She likes how the screen is alot larger than her old laptop. We were needing a laptop with a disc drive so I was happy to know this laptop has one because alot of new laptops don't.

I bought this laptop for my grandma and aunt. they're not very good at computers and this one is very easy to use. the image is very clear and the laptop is fast, also has a pretty decent storage capacity. In general, it was a good purchase.

Bought a Dell laptop for my husband. Then my friend bought two for her family. I set them all up and everyone is happy with theirs. Great price for a usable laptop that will be used mainly for Internet, Email, documents and spreadsheets.

This computer is horribly slow. It was purchased to replace a laptop with a cracked screen - 4 years its elder, and the older laptop, speced similarity is still much faster.

RAM full from first use before I had a chance to install anything. Constantly crashes, extremely slow performance, at times it refuses to shut down and I have to power it off. Not even suitable for simple browsing or streaming from YouTube. This has to be a well known defective product. I will be returning

This computer is very light weight and easy to load, carry and store. It has been downloaded with all the essential items I need for my studies and it makes my life much better when I know I can count on this computer to function well for anything I need to do.

I like my new Dell Inspiron 15.6" laptop! It's just the right size to take with me when I travel. I was able to get all my emails and other information imported. Thanks Best Buy for the great price and help!

My son talked me in to getting a new laptop because my old D620 ran XP was heavy and got hot on your lap. We went and picked up this one and it is no faster. has lag and you can not feel the keys to find home. It is lighter and not as hot on your lap. At first when you hit the cap lock key and started typing it took about 3 seconds before it would start typing again but my son did fix that somehow. For me it was not worth spending the extra money to have about the same laptop. But i do like the bigger screen.

Our small business has purchased several of these laptops and we use them to run our website and marketing business. I really push a computer hard and need to use dozens of programs and to be honest I unless you are gaming I don't know what more you would need.

Great laptop for the money. Nice big screen, number pad, HDMI out, and CD/DVD drive make it worth the money. Kinda slow though, so don't plan on playing any intensive games.

not for gamers or serious users - spend more for better power - but it does everything you need, just a tad slow in my opinion

Overall this laptop is sufficient, great features, pixels, speakers delivers spectacular sound quality. Sleek, lightweight, great price, give your child or yourself the affordability to purchase a printer.

Bought this product when I was entering college in 2018. I'm still using it at home, battery life is excellent, price was affordable. Will recommend to any parent or student.
