Great computer for the price. needed more memory though.

This laptop is worth the price however, it is a little slow. Windows 10 is a plus.

This laptop was larger than I expected, which works well as it is being used to take beginning keyboarding classes. It went through a fairly simple set-up process and connected easily to Wi-Fi. The screen is large and good quality. It even has a DVD drive in it, which is sometimes hard to find. The price was right, too. Would have earned 5 starts if Microsoft Office was included.

Although I was “warned’ about the AMD processor not being up to Intel standards I decided to give it a try for my average usage (mainly internet browsing, emails and occasional Utube). Was performance slow at first-yes! But if you do the things suggested from various articles and in particular the “refresh of your PC” (just goggle it) I find it is running just fine for my usage.

I bought the laptop as a replacement for my older laptop which was slowing down. This laptop was a minor upgrade and the price was right. The performance just isn’t there. It works for the little things I do, but if you need power computing this is not the option.

I bought a refurbished Inspiron 15.6", because I simply wanted a casual laptop for internet research, writing, and storing photos. If you plan on playing games or multitasking several programs, this is not your computer. It seems to slow down when I have several web browsers open, and it will stall and become unresponsive for several minutes. I removed all security features and unnecessary programs, and it barely runs at a tolerable speed. It has a nice sized screen, but the clarity, colors, and definition of the screen are weak. Also, the left positioning of the touch mousepad is very annoying, because my left hand always seems to swipe the pad and move my cursor when I am typing. I disabled it and use an external mouse.

This is a great laptop for those who need it for simple tasks. As long as you aren't using it to play high powered games or download a bunch of videos or songs it works great. The 500 GB storage is decent if you're just saving documents and a some pictures here and there. But I may have to invest in an external memory if I decide I need more space in the future.

Laptop was a great deal. I have not purchased a Dell before. Use a Dell at work though. Applications and browser seem slow to launch and load even after clean up performed. You may end up adding another RAM to increase since it only comes with 4 MB RAM

It’s not very fast or powerful, but does the job and was dirt cheap.

I got this laptop for my daughter to use for school. It has been a nice basic laptop for that purpose. She can easily run everything she needs for school like Office 365, Chrome, Firefox, and some apps. She has tried running my copy of ZBrush 2018 but it really struggles with that (not surprise, I usually run that on my workstation with 24GB of RAM)

Well, this was not a very expensive laptop. So didn't really expect much from it. We just wanted something that would run smoothly and last a year or so. So far so good. Did upgrade the hdd to an ssd. It helped improve speeds. I would say for the price of$300. It has performed good.

I bought this laptop to help keep organized for my wedding. It did it’s job and was fine... however, that’s about it. It’s HUGE compared to my last laptop, and after only 1.5 years, the battery died and needs to be replaced already. Which is odd because I e only used it 20-25 times since buying it.

I was looking for a laptop with a cd/dvd and at least 500 GB of storage. This Dell fit the bill and to my surprise the cost was so low that I just had to buy it. I'm so happy with this laptop.I would recommend this computer for anyone looking for computer that can do it all!!!!

Bought this item as a graduation gift for our nephew. Purchased a student version of MS Office and that runs as expected. Had to purchase a stand alone driver for the DVD/cd to view video. Not a showstopper but it just adds another $15 to the cost. Overall it’s a decent machine if you don’t play games or need a lot of processing speed.

Purchased the laptop for my son. It was a terrific price and I found a lower price that was honored by Best Buy - great store policy. Decent laptop for the price . Does what my son needs it to do. Kind of sorry I bought the extra protection since laptop was very inexpensive. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this laptop in store with the Condition of SATISFACTORY, So, I got it by discount. So far, it is working fine. I have other laptops that I also use everyday. I get what I paid for and I am happy with this one. I recommend this laptop as a back up that you may need it sometimes.

I am so happy with my new Dell laptop. I am a senior citizen and sometimes get very intimidated by now day electronics. My new Dell was great on my purse and I have no stress when trying to maneuver thru use. Thanks Best Buy

This is my first Dell I have purchased. I use Dell products at work and had very good experiences with Dell. This is a good laptop but it is a bit slow, I recommend to purchase the 4GB RAM Upgrade for better performance. (About an additional $112)...I did and it made a difference

I’m really glad I went with this particular laptop. I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money cause I was just using it to looking online, basic things. I no I wanted to have the touch screen effect also and I’m loving tht feature on a laptop. I’m very happy with my purchase.

So far I really do like this computer. Haven't used it a lot yet but has been easy to navigate on everything I have done. It has great clarity and size of gobt and images is easy for me to see. I would recommend this product to others. A great deal for the price as well.
