Have an older Dell desktop , was slow and the monitor had issues . I was at best and saw this laptop and it was on sale. A friend told me to ask and see if they had any " open box " deals on this and they did. A good computer, and it fit's what I do just fine.

I purchased this computer knowing that the “box” had simply been opened. BUT I did not think that an opened box could mean that the performance of the computer might be damaged in anyway. My new Dell Inspiron 15 3000 computer often acts a little confused.

I purchased this laptop because I needed one for basically paying bills online, shopping and social media. The inexpensive price for this laptop was also a factor in purchasing this laptop. Based on my use, I wasn't looking for or expecting anything high speed, but I'm disappointed in the performance of this laptop... It's very slow, to the point of being annoying, not to mention the various "glitches" experienced every now and again. For my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend this laptop.

My husband picked out this laptop, mainly to use for itunes. So he basically only uses it to upload all our music to his ipod. I found this Dell laptop to be very slow compared to my HP. But that's just my opinion cuz i prefer HP. Other than using it for itunes, he hasn't really done much else with it. Maybe went on the internet a few times. So I'd say the only complaint is that it's kinda slow and you can't have too many things open at once. But the price was fairly cheap.

Powerful computer for basic use: With great basic data. Size 15.6 inches 4 GB Memory RAM. A powerful mobile charger (not as thin as a lot of new computers). In conclusion a computer is recommended with a good look!

Great value for the money. I almost bought another one of these the other day for my kids to use to supplement their Apples. Windows 10 is great, actually incredible to 8 (and a nice upgrade to 7). Would recommend this to anyone.

I had bought another laptop a few days before and had a bad experience. I was thinking you get what you pay for but for just $100 more I got this HP. What a difference. From plugging it in a simple fast setup. Love it so far

I owned this model before and when time to retire it I looked and found the same model # It was a good price, I n fact it was almost half the cost of the one I really wanted and the old one served me well so I brought it.

Got this for my son to see how well he would take care of it before spending a lot of a better computer. It's not going to win any speed test, but it does everything he needs it to. For the price, it's a good computer.

It seems to be a lot slower than I expected. I am very disappointed in its performance. Surfing from one sight to another takes a long time.

It is a dell so you know what you are getting is quality. It is easy to use and great value for the price. Definitely recommend for beginners and for every day use.

Has /Windows 10 and is OK for that. Performance is slow. Memory upgrade too expensive ad is would nearly double the cost of owning it.

I bought this Dell - Inspiron 15.6" Laptop - AMD A6-Series - 4GB Memory series for my school going grandson. This is a good laptop for basic work. The price is comparatively lower and it met my expectation.

This laptop has work pretty good so far but I have had a couple issues with it having to restart to operate correctly. It is definitely a good starting laptop for someone not wanting to spend a lot of money.

Great price - bought it for my 12 yr old son - a little slow on processing but overall good value He uses it for school

got a good price and it works good, but sometimes it freezes up on one program and i have to totally reboot. we bought 2 the other one is just fine.

I've only used this laptop for a couple of days but it's not the best nor is it the worst. It's a little slow compared to other laptops out there but for the price I guess that's how it is. The speakers are really loud and the display of the screen is also great. The quality is nice and the screen is big too. It's not an overly heavy laptop either. I use it for surfing the web, watching shows, emails, etc and it does the job. It isn't my main laptop since my mac is my main laptop.

good price, lacking on RAM, performance suffers as a result. If purchasing again I would make sure computer has more ram

Great basic laptop for web browsing, email,DVD player, but is very slow. Also experience intermittent casting/Mirroring problems to my smart tv but overall nice computer for the price.

I've been using dell laptop for quite a while now. This is my 3rd laptop from dell and i have no problem with it. I used to buy hp laptop but im having issues with it. Same problem over and over again and that's the reason why i switch to dell. This laptop is a little bit heavy compare to mac and hp. It's fast and easy to use. Memory wise its great having a 4gb and 500 gb of hard drive. The price is also affordable compare to mac and hp.
