I like that it's thin but it still has a big screen.

I purchased this new computer about two weeks ago. It was a little slower than I was used to with my old Toshiba laptop (which was great up until I decided it was time to update after having it for eight years). Now the computer takes forever to load. When I try to type, it hesitates to put the letter up, therefore it takes me longer to even type something. I have never in my life worked on a computer this slow. To top it off, the screen often goes black and I got a message that the video card was faulty. Not exactly what I was looking for. I have owned many computers over the years, and this is the worst one ever. Not sure if it is the processor making it slow or not, but I will return this and get a different brand and go back to the Core processor. This stinks since I can't seem to find any Toshiba laptops anywhere (did they stop selling them in the US?) I would buy one again immediately if I could. I am sorely disappointed in this computer and I highly recommend that you do NOT get it. I really expected better from Dell, but they have already done me in. That leaves me two brands that I will never buy again. Dell and HP. HP computers have only ever lasted me for about a year. So disappointed about this. My only suggestion is stick with a Core Processor and don't buy this particular computer because it stinks.

ddhawkins63,
Thanks for your feedback and we're sorry to hear that your new Dell computer is not meeting your needs. We'd recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter to see if there are ways for your computer to run faster:
1. Close all open windows. 2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard. 3. Click Control Panel. 4. Click System and Security. 5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems. 6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks. 7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process. 8. Restart the PC.
