This is a replacement for an Asus which had more storage and more processing power and I felt them to be the same speed. The touch-key mouse has its drawbacks i often use a corded one.

It was restored back to new and I have had no issues at all. I have called the Geek Squad once to get assistance with Excel set up. The Tech was very helpful and fixed that issue.

This laptop has kept up with me on my light use days as well as my heavy use days. I have used my laptop for simple email viewing and gaming. The only problem I have experienced with my laptop was with the initial setup. I had to contact Dell for assistance with updating Windows 10. This probably could have been avoided if I had let Geek Squad do the initial setup of my laptop. However, if you are setting up your laptop for the first time on your own, you may encounter this issue.

I am enjoying this but I need to get a wireless mouse to more fully explore and learn this. I expect the learning curve will accelerate as time goes on.

My kids use it for their schooling and I use it for office work. I love the ease of using it, the keyboard feels good as well.

Will log you off whatever you are working on randomly. Not as compatible to older laser printers as I had hoped. Very basic unit that I would not purchase again or recommend.

Posted .Hi Julie, Thanks for your review and for your recent Dell purchase. If you need help with your touchpad we'd recommend the following: Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties. Here are some tips to modify these settings:
1. In the Search box, type main.cpl.
2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs.
3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab.
4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad.
5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer there may not be a Gestures option).
6. Change the options as preferred.
7. Touch or click Save.
8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window.
10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA.
