    Beautiful but slow

    It's a really nice laptop in look and feel. I love the keyboard complete with number pad and the graphics card makes it beautiful, but it's very laggy on any web browser. I feel like it should be really fast given its processor and ram.

    I did not like this laptop as it did not have wireless and everything i do for work needs wireless.

    Dell Inspiron Lacking in Quality

    I purchased a Dell Inspiron 15.6 laptop, making my decision based on reviews. The first thing I noticed about this product is that it got incredibly hot on my lap, much more than any other laptop I have ever owned. It also could not find my wireless printer - at one point it found the printer, but a few days later couldn't print to it. I never did figure out what caused that. But I did waste many hours trying to fix it. The last straw was when the laptop started to "freeze" unexpectedly, requiring a hard boot to get it going again. After five or six times I packed it up and returned it. There are better products on the market for the money. This is a fairly expensive computer, and I expected better performance for the money.

    We didn't look laptop over thoroughly for cosmetic damage because it was geek squad recommended. There is now a crack next to screen that I have been told would be 250 to fix. We did not do it. Have not tried to return to store as they would probably blame it on us.

    My former Toshiba ran better than this new Dell up until the day it crashed. I'm new to Windows 10 and wonder if this OS is slower than Windows 7. Whatever the issue, I'll simply tolerate the Dell for now. Not a happy buyer and wouldn't recommend the product.

    Bought this computer a while back to have a backup for my company. Specs listed were good for what i needed (karaoke and DJ work), and works fine for simple "office work" only. When I started using it for my shows, one problem after another started popping up, WiFi is rarely usable, audio starts skipping after about an hour (no it's not the mp3 files), and the list goes on & on.

      1. Run the Network Troubleshooter. Touch and hold or right-click the network icon (Available Networks or Network Icon, located in the lower right-hand corner).
      2. Touch or click Troubleshoot problems, and then follow the prompts.
      3. Turn off and then turn on all the devices on the network to reboot and synchronize them, for more information refer to the Dell Knowledge Base article "Turn Off and Then Turn on All the Devices on the Network".

    Bought this for my son to use at college. Two weeks after purchase it had to be sent out for repairs, He then went two weeks without a computer. Not what I expected at this price point

    My Husband was looking for a new 15 inch laptop and it was between this and ASUS. Last Summer my Son purchase a Dell and our Daughter bought the ASUS. Backlit lighting is great.

    Nice laptop until the Wifi crapped out...

    This is a nicely configured laptop, and set up went great. Took a lot of time to transfer a gazillion files for my wife, but the machine ran circles around her old one. After all the set up time, the first day she used it, the Wifi card failed. Ran all the troubleshooters, updated the driver, etc. to no avail. After an hour shutdown, it was working again, but over the next few days, it kept failing so had to be returned. Shopping around, similar equipped laptops are hard to find, so we will try another one and hope for the best.

    Amazing, but shuts down at random times

    So I just got this laptop about a month ago and it met all of my needs as being a college student. My main issue with this, is that it completely shuts down and gives off an error 41 message. This is very inconvenient when it shuts down as im taking notes and im a bit concerned that this is ruining this laptop. Tried many solutions online and so far nothing has fixed this issue.

      Aggx1005, Thanks for your review. We're sorry that you have been receiving error messages on your computer as it shuts down on you. We'd recommend the following troubleshooting tips:
      1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
      2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
      3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
      4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
