Got this computer as a gift from my family as an upgrade on my 10 year old desk top. For the price, this is terrific. It has all the power I need, super fast, screen size is what I expect because it is what they ordered - the picture is clear, colors are great. Baring in mind I am not a gamer nor do I have any special requirements, this is all the computer I will need until my next upgrade.

Just received this laptop yesterday. I got it on a deal $299 and here is my impressions. Dell packaging is pretty good and protecting the laptop. Best buy outer box had however very few protective air bags (I bought it online).. I have updated the windows, installed my own antivirus, tried connecting it to TV using HDMI while splitting the screen to multitask (Youtube full screen on the TV while laptop normal screen was full by other operations), results came to my satisfactory level. Computer is responding pretty fast (not super fast though, but fast enough), no lags.. fan speed is normal and quite which means it is not getting overheated. Also pressing ctrl+shift+ESC allows you to see how much resources the computer is using. It doesn't use more than 45% of the Ram and about 20% of the processor at any given time, except for some moments like opening up a heavy software where the meter goes all the way up to 100% of the CPU before it comes back down. Keyboard keys is very nice, numpad is helpful and the touch screen is a very decent function and makes using the computer more easy. Resolution is good and crispy. Sound is deep, though it is not the perfect sound if you are thinking about partying! It is not a gaming machine since the display card is very basic, and that's why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but giving the price I paid, it still makes it a very good deal. Wifi adapter is limited to 2.5G, it wasn't able to find my 5G wifi but i dont care much about this (yet another reason for the 4 stars rating). Anyways, I still get full speed using the wifi connection. For those who found it slow, you may try to uninstall some of the pre loaded software, that is what i did, and i believe it freed up good amount of memory. Overall, I am satisfied with the laptop so far, and hope it lasts long like my previous HP one. Oh, and this product is available at best buy website with so many reviews but under a different SKU! Not sure why best buy is duplicating the same product with 2 SKU's though the same exact specs!

The best purchase. I'm highly satisfied with my purchase. Bought it for two new users who have basic computing needs. The laptop exceeds the expectations.

Was a little slow but disabled some of the startup software and has been running great. Got it as a Christmas gift. I'm not a fan of laptops but the touchscreen feature makes it worthwhile

I purchased this laptop for my 11 year old granddaughter, so I didn't want to spend alot. I'm very impressed with this laptop. It's perfect for her.

Great computer for the price. My daughter uses it for school and to play games. It’s a little heavier than I expected but that isn’t too much of a big deal for us.

Bought this Dell for my Granddaughter as a Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday gift. She LOVES IT. Great for students as well as adults.

screen is not the greatest, has a narrow viewing angle, and resolution is low, so it's not going to be clear like an iPad screen. But aside from that, it will do basic tasks like web browsing and MS Office apps.

Computer is great! Was bummed that we purchased the recommended wireless mouse with it, and the piece does not fit the USB port

After setup it loads quickly and work very well for my needs as a poratable business terminal. Great deal for the features.

I bought this laptop on Cyber Monday for a steal. It runs like a high-end laptop. Set up was timely and slow. I would recommend this to beginners.

There are still some features of this laptop that I have to get used to compare to my previous Dell Inspiron, otherwise it's great for the price.

Coming from a Dells Inspirion 11 to this Inspirion 15, Its like being on 26 inch bike coming from a tricycle!!

This Dell 3000 Inspiron PC is a good working unit for ours needs of Email, searching the internet, streaming and using office products. It seems responsive and has not presented any processing issues in the 30 days that we have had it. Having said that I find it extremely short sighted that there is no power or num lock lights. The difficulty with the power light is not knowing if the unit has been shutoff at the end of the day without having to open it and hit the power/sleep button. The num lock is trial and error. Buyer be aware!

The laptop is heavy, and slow. It crashed while I was trying to set it up. I will be returning it.

Needed an update to an old laptop for the home use computer. Great deal on a new Dell with great specs.
