I'm very happy with the way the computer works so far but i think dell can upgrade the optical driver

Dell computer is quick and easy to use. This computer is great for any person, of any age, and with little to no experience with a computer.

This is the first Dell laptop that I've owned and I love it, as of now it's my preferred!

Couldn't activate Window 10 when Windows ask me to Key code didn't match the system! Best Buy Geek Squad and Microsoft couldn't get activated either, I even ask Best Buy salesman before I left the store when I brought it maybe Geek Squad should check it out since it was an open box item, Oh no problem we have them check out before we put them back on the shelf, YEA SURE! I'm guessing Best Buy just put them out and says what they wants you hear! Big Box Big Money Poor Customer Service! If it wasn't for Key code not matching up with Windows 10 I've would of kept the system unless it devlop other problems like the ones having now with its replacement!

I held out for such a long time replacing my old laptop. I had a Dell that is now 10 years old, and was basically being held together with duct tape at this point. Mainly because I was still running XP and didn't like the new Windows options. Now with Windows 10, I was willing to make the jump. It is bigger than I expected. Not a problem, I like the screen a lot, but the base around the keyboard is bigger than I'm used to. Touchscreen works awesome. The battery life on this is great so far. Speed is tremendously faster than my old computer. And I can't imagine ever needing more than 1TB on the hard drive. Only complaint is that the mouse touchpad is a little sensitive and is large, so I hit it a lot when I'm typing. I figured out how to turn off the tap function on it, which has helped, but then you lose that feature when you are doing other things it would be useful for. As with any Dell, one of the best things is that it doesn't come loaded with a bunch of programs you don't want and will never use. Setup was incredibly easy. Pretty much turned it on, answered a few questions, and was up and running fully within 20 minutes. Very happy with this, especially for the price!

I need to buy 2 laptops for my boys in school so they stop the fight for the desktop for homework. I wanted laptops that would have plenty of memory and speed with a decent price point. These fit the bill perfectly. I am very pleased with their performance so far and the value was great!

Laptop was a xmas present. Love the touchscreen. Great speed and lots of memory. Not fond of Windows 10 however. Awesome price on sale.

A little heavy, but I love the laptop! Got mine in stores on thursday. They were sold out online before 5pm and that was annoying, but I just went to the store and they gave me a ticket and I just went right up to the geek-squad counter and they gave it to me. It only took a couple mins. They're probably all sold out now, but the deal WAS real. I might do a review of the laptop on youtube.

This really is a great laptop. Got it at a great price. It is fast and holds all my pictures. Easy to set up and use. Love the touch screen as well!

My 15 yr old daughter continues to rave about it! She was excited at first, but as she began to use it more and more, she continued to rave about the touch screen for her youtube videos and spotify playlists while being able to type on the very friendly keyboard. The speed is amazing. The storage - I don't anticipate it running out any time soon. Very happy with the purchase!!

I bought this for my wife on the elite member pre sale for $279. We are not gamers so getting a second laptop for everyday needs was all we needed. This has everything we need storage and speed wise. The touch screen is well, a nice touch. If I had one complaint, it is rather heavy but not a deal breaker.

Considering the price, it is a very good product. Pros: Touch 15.6 screen, Waves MaxxAudio, Core i3, 8 GB RAM, windows 10 and 1 TB HDD. ...... Cons: only 1 USB 3 port, 5400 revolutions per minute. If you could get an SSD and swap it with the HDD, it will just be perfect. this is for designers and video editors for example.

I have not experienced any technical problems with this laptop during my month-long ownership. The touchpad and touchscreen are smooth and precise; I no longer need to use a mouse to move around the UI. The 15" screen is clear and bright; hi-def videos look very good. With 8 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage I won't need to upgrade any of these components. The Core i3 processor is good enough for most browsing and editing tasks that I perform. The glossy black cover is easily covered with fingerprints and dust. I may eventually get a protective skin to cover it. And it would have been nice to have a built-in blu-ray drive.

This is the meaning of best buy! This is the most bang for the buck and in spite of all the bad reviews. The early bird gets the worm and this is a great laptop. 8GB of memory and 1TB of space for under $300? You got to be kidding me!

We were looking for a touch screen laptop with 1 TB of space. The price was great on this computer. I have really enjoyed using it. This is our first touch screen and we REALLY like it. We mostly use our computers for music, pictures, email and internet. This product, so far, has met all of our expectations.

Bought this on Black Friday. Couldn't be happier. I made a good choice here. I'm not a gamer, so I didn't need a "monster". I'm a browser, shopper, pictures and documents kind of person. This is my first experience with Windows 10, so that's been interesting. Ya, and fun too. There isn't anything about the machine that I don't like. For what I'm doing, and will be for some time, it's a great machine and I couldn't be happier. There is one thing that I could share that may be important to some of you. My sister just got a Dell, 15.6 inch screen, the same size as this one. Both are 1366 x 768 resolution. However, mine is a touch screen and hers is not. The trade off is, hers is that glossy rich and looks the same from all angles. Mine has an optimal viewing angle, which I set by tilting the screen to my preference. And, as I said, it's a touch screen, hers is not. Ya, glossy wet is cool, and you get that with this, straight on, but not all angles. Anyway, I'm digging the touch screen. Especially when I'm in tablet mode.

I love this laptop. For the price it does everything I want and more. I do not game or anything, but use it for everday household stuff. Plenty of storage and absolutely love the 15.6" touchscreen. Best bang for your buck out there.
