I'm a long time Dell customer and I've bought Dell PCs for each of my 4 kids. Replaced an old Dell PC with the new one and I'm very disappointed with the speed. Yes, I read the previous reviewed that complained about the speed of the unit but I thought perhaps they were exaggerated. Well after setting up this new PC, I download all of the Windows updates (took a full day) ran the Dell support test and this PC is still extremely slow, especially booting up! The graphics and programs are very good when running but waiting for commands to be executed are a pain. I suggest looking for another Dell versus this i5 Inspiron 15!

Great computer for doing all your basic computer tasks. ie. checking email, all social media music streaming, youtube etc. Overall happy with it.

Cannot expect more good than this for this price. Had some performance issues but kind of ok for basic use

The speed and memory of the computer is great for the price. This computer is great for school, I've mostly used it for my school assignments and online shopping.

my son has been begging to get a new laptop and i found this one online. after comparing the pricing with other online stores, including amazon, we decided to go for the black friday special. this has been one great purchase i made this year. Merry Christmas my son!

Dell has not been a favorite company of mine. Terrible tech support in the past. Understand it’s improved... so for the great price I purchased

I have personally not used this laptop yet. It is a gift for my nephew for Christmas. It seems to have all the features that he is looking for can’t wait for him to open it. He is 12 and needs to do homework on a computer this is the perfect one for him and his age

The laptop is great for students that don't need a lot of frills. The screen resolution is good and the processor handles multi tasking well.

This laptop was perfect for the price I paid. I bought another with less memory and hard drive for about the same price and it cannot hold a candle to this Dell.

I bought 3 of these at Christmas time, 2 for my teenagers and 1 for my husband. I saw a great deal on them and couldn't pass up replacing all of their aging laptops. Since then, I haven't been bothered at all by any of them complaining about something not working on their computers. They love them, and my husband is very impressed by the speed and performance. The teens love it for gaming and music. I love it because it actually works the way it is supposed to. Lightweight, responsive touchscreen, long battery life...and if you can find it on sale, what more could you ask for?!?

Laptop is worth the value of price ($400). Keyboard layout, Screen size, Sound quality are all good. Number and variety of ports is fine.

The big dram back for me is the design of the mouse pad (Integrated ) plus there is no light indicating the power is on at the power switch

I like the large screen. It is hard to change keyboards. Not the same layout of my very old laptop. I thought the Intel I5 would be faster.

Overall a good laptop. Good specs and performance for the price. After removing Dell software (bloatware), the performance/speed was good.

When purchased on extraordinary sale price offer, this is outstanding value for mid level machine that has speed, storage and screen size.

The Inspiron is a solid little computer for doing light office work, surfing the web and playing "light games". Works great with Netflix.

This is my second laptop brought for my brother during black friday deals. The first one i bought last year black friday . Working great.

This computer was a great deal with the huge amount of memory and a touch screen. After deleting some bloatware it su2 s smooth and fast.
