The new laptop is quite a change from my 10 year old Gateway. I am still getting aquainted with it. I am sure it is going to be a good friend, soon. I did mention it to a friend whose laptop had just died. She shopped and bought one just like this.

fingerprint reader has bad design

It is a small square button, our fingerprints are usually in rectangular shape. My computer keeps complaining it does not recognize my fingerprint. Also the cursor pointer always jumps around, not the place I want to point. I have to use a mouse to solve this problem.

Battery life is sub par

It's not like you can upgrade the battery either. Love the touch screen but it makes it hard to play some games on ABC mouse for my child. It doesn't look like any active pens are compatible with this computer.
