The touchscreen is great. The only disadvantage is the sound driver wasn't loaded when it was received. It was easy to work through to fix. In addition to having a nice size screen it's light in weight. The screen itself is bright and clear.

Product both professional and home until now affter having mutable problems with two new H.P. laptops I decide to make a switch based on input from the Best Buy sales guy. So far no issues, great picture, very fast and if this continues to be as good as it is now there willbe more Dell units in my life.

I'm surprised to say that it works great! Had a few problems in the beginning but updating the BIOS got rid of all the kinks. I use this PC for school and light gaming (League of legends) and it works great!

I've had it only four months and it will no longer hold an internet connection because of malfunctioning network adapter. As much as I love the computer it's useless without being able to hold a connection to the internet. And so far I've not been able to figure out how to fix it. And I'm stuck at home because of this pandemic thing going on. And it's really upsetting because I've been loving watching Netflix on it because the picture quality is phenomenal And now the computer won't hold a connection and ruining it for me. I wouldn't even mind that much if I had long cord and could plug in wirelessly. But at the moment that s not an option because of my location to the router... Yes I would highly recommend the computer, if it wasn't for the connectivity problem. If I can figure out how to keep it working I would be very happy with it. Is it coincidence that I've only owned one other Dell Computer, and that one ended up having the exact same Problem? Is this a common Dell Issue or am I just having bad luck with Dells.

We're sorry to hear about the connectivity issue that you're having with your laptop. We'd recommend trying to update your wireless card on your computer:
1. Download and install the latest Wireless Card driver. (https://dell.to/2th3Tpe) After updating the driver, re-establish the connection with the Wireless Access Point and check the wireless performance.
2. If the issue persists, proceed to step 3.
3. Power-cycle the local network. Shut down the Dell system, the Wireless Access Point/Router and the Modem. Wait a minimum of 60 seconds before powering up the components in the following order:
4. Power ON the Modem, and wait for it to boot fully.
5. Power ON the Wireless Access Point/Router, and wait for it to boot fully.
6. Power ON the Dell system.
7. Open Network and Sharing Center
8. In the left side navigation pane, click on Change Adapter Settings
9. Right click on the wireless connection icon and select Properties followed by the Configure button
10. Under Wireless Options, select the Wireless N mode
11. For Windows 8 or later systems click the Advanced tab and look for 802.11n Mode on the right you will be given the option to Enable or Disable. If the mode is not visible you may need to update your drivers and firmware.
12. From the drop-down menu, choose Disable followed by Ok
13. This should restore the wireless download and upload speed. Internet speed can be tested at http://speedtest.net.

Nice update to Inspiron 7000 series

Big improvement for both hardware aspects. Never liked small power button on side on previous versions of this model, or separate fingerprint reader used in other security hardware

The laptop is fast. It is not too heavy. The touchscreen is very responsive. The new buying process from BestBuy was very easy, useful and smoothly done. I would recommend this computer and also recommend BestBuy for the purchase
