Customers appreciate the Inspiron 2-in-1's light weight, ease of use, compact size, and fast SSD. Positive feedback also highlights the responsive touch screen, good performance, and long battery life, with many considering it a great value for the price. The attractive design is also frequently praised. A minor drawback mentioned by some users is the fan noise under certain conditions.

Within the first two months the screen went wacky and the machine ran a hardware check couldn't find problem. I took to Geek squad and they couldn't find anything, I hope this doesn't happen again

The 2in1 worked like I expected, but after I began to load my software, I became aware that it did not supply enough storage space so I returned it and got the ASUS Q325.
Even though it didn't meet my requirements, I would recommend to a friend

Depending on what you need, this laptop is very basic. Good for not so heavy tasks. Bought it strictly for school work, I have not had significant problems yet besides heating up. Overall, average.

Computer is great. I didn't notice it doesn't have a numbers keypad. Still struggling with Webroot installation. The keycode didn't peel off good and not getting good online help from their website.

Over all this note pad is really reliable the only down part about it is that if you use it for a long period Of time it slows down really fast but then again this is the price to pay for open box

DISAPPOINTED: MY DELL INSPIRION MEMORY FAILED ONE MONTH AFTER I PURCHASED IT. I LIKE THE FEATURES OF THE LAPTOP BUT AS MUCH AS IT COSTS YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD LAST FOR YEARS. I'M GLAD I HAD A BACK UP WHILE IT IS BEING REPAIRED.

Never go back to a hard drive

Run, don't walk to get one. The SSDs are a bit pricey yet, but they'll come down eventually, and they're worth every penny. Fast (you'll be amazed if you've labored along with a sluggish HD), quiet (not a sound), lightweight, no heat, and the FHD touch screen is stunning. IMPORTANT: if you want to store stuff, buy a machine with at least 256 gigs, and go for 512 if you can afford it. Remember that Win 10, the Dell apps and utilities, and other installed programs grab a major share of the space. One peculiarity of SS drives, they appear to lose (and gain) gigabytes without warning. I downloaded a 4 megabyte app, and appeared to lose 2 gigs. Go figure. Must be the nature of the beast. If anyone has an explanation, please respond. Othewise, this Dell 13 is the game to be playing.

I watched reviews of this laptop on YouTube before deciding to buy it and purchased this from BestBuy last week. I think there was on on sale or I am not sure if it always is but I picked this one up for $649 + tax. I use it mainly for work (MS Office), YouTube, and watching videos.
I would highly recommend the laptop for anybody looking for one in this price range. 2-in-1 feature, though I didn't need it, is actually helpful and the touchscreen is quite responsive. The boot-time is less, thanks to the SSD and windows 10 seems to be integrated well with this device.
The screen has the right amount of brightness range but due to the gloss finish, there is a lot of reflection. I'm planning to buy a matte-finish screen protector to also keep my fingerprints away from the screen. The battery lasts me for 5–6 hours for the usage I mentioned above which is fine by me. The laptop is not too heavy and it is easy to carry around though it is quite bulky as a tablet. One more thing about the tablet mode is that the screen doesn't sit firmly when it goes all the way back.
The power button, the position of which makes complete sense when you are using it as a tablet mode, is placed in a bad position because you tend to put the laptop in standby mode when you are carrying it. on the sides. The volume button, though you can control it on your keyboard, helps I guess. I have never used it till date.
Here goes my 4/5 stars!

Fragile and Bad Customer Service

After using the 2-in-1 for ~90 days the screen cracked from opening it. The glass is too thin and the flexing can crack it when opening. Dell said it wasn't a warranty issue since it was physical damage. Instead of wasting more of my time I went ahead and agreed to pay the $239 repair fee. After checking that the parts were available, I sent the computer in. 2 weeks later they tell me the parts are not available and are sending it back unrepaired. This is the first and last Dell I will ever buy. What a joke.

expensive, solid state Dell Inspiron laptop, a dud

Warranty not honored; battery port bad, no mother board found for repair. I have a $900 solid state laptop that doesn't work. And it's less than 2 years old. Don't buy Dell.
