I looked at MacBook Pro, HP Spectre 360, and similar products before purchasing this laptop. I feel like I got the best bang for my buck, more RAM, i7, and 256SSD, and all for hundreds less than everything else I looked at. Best Buy was running a student deal at the time and I saved an extra $100. Can't complain at all.

The laptop is incredibly fast with phenomenal battery life. Doesn't lag even when heavily multi tasking. I haven't tried gaming of any sort with it but its an absolutely solid buy for work and everything else.

This is a great computer it is perfect to take to college. It does not weigh much so it does not make your backpack heavy. This was the perfect computer for me to buy when I needed one for college.

I purchased this Notebook / Tablet in one for my son for school. It replaces an 8 year old Notebook by another brand. What an upgrade! It is everything as advertised. The speed of a SSD based OS is a terrific improvement over a standard HD system. Add Windows 10 to the device and there's lots of flexibility to the PC / Tablet experience. The 5-Star is on feature / function, clean lines and keyboard of this Inspiron. I wish there was a 1/2 step to the rating. The battery life is my concern, only 7 hours on average based on usage right now. To eek out more time, the Battery Saver setting must be used, which impacts performance. I would give an overall 4.5 rating including suspicions on battery life. Overall, as a Win 10 notebook that is not gaming focused, this is a reasonably priced performer that should provide consistent service as long as the battery lasts. Obviously, I'm looking for a few years of service without having to replace the battery. Processor speed, memory and storage should not be the factors that determine when the next replacement occurs.

The combination of i7 and SSD make this a fast laptop to start up and very responsive. Battery life is solid as well. Plus we got it at a great price as this was an open box item.

I have this laptop for more than 3 months and it is very good so far, though it does not have a powerful processor, but if you are not a big gamer it will work just fine.

Laptop has been a great purchase. I purchased another laptop that was more expensive for another employee and liked this one much better so purchased a second.

This is a fast, powerful and very portable machine. Nice, bright touchscreen, responsive touchpad, and a long battery life. Keyboard feels a bit rinky-dink, but I think that's true of all small laptops. We got a good deal with a student discount plus a Best Buy credit card discount, but without that, it's a pricey machine. Seems worth it, though.

Powerful capable computer w decent battery life. I run a Dell hub and 2 27 inch monitors off my little 13 in Dell.

This laptop was for my son to take to college. It is a fast and powerful computer that more than meets his needs.

The laptop was a great deal and the salesperson was very helpful and patient. At times, Windows10 seems to stomp on basic functionality such as connecting to wifi. Or maybe it's the WebRoot antivirus. Otherwise, computer is very fast, great screen and quickly starts up and shuts down.

I am enjoying this great laptop daily. Got it as an Open Box bargain and the price was very attractive.

I bought this about a month ago so I've had some time with it. I got it for $750 shipped thanks to a student deal best buy was running. Pros: Good specs for cheaper than competitors (i7, 12GB RAM) Touch screen works well No real complaints with the screen, keyboard, etc. Cons: There's a reason this is cheaper than the next tier of laptops (HP Spectre, Dell XPS etc) and that is due to the lack of the 4K screen, but also in quality. For example, the speakers on my laptop crack and pop while playing music in power saving mode, but the noise goes away when you go to a balanced or high performance setting. Next, the battery life is low compared to all competitors (~6hrs vs ~8+ Hours). With all that being said, I don't feel that the $500 more I would've paid for a higher tier laptop (Spectre, XPS, Mac) gets me that much in upgrades. TL;DR Good budget laptop, best bang for your buck. Spend more if you want top tier.

best buy is the p\lace to go to for electronics. they had many to choose from but this one caught my eye and i don't regret it.. the battery life is amazing!! more then what i originally expected. the price was reasonable.
