I have been quit impressed with this laptop 2 in 1 since my purchase. I am most impressed with the start up time.... or lack there of. I really have nothing bad to say about how this product has performed for me. the only thing that gets under my skin a bit is the fact that when researching online on what to buy, I made my decision to by this laptop partly due to the 3.1ghz quad-core CPU. after purchasing and taking home. I looked at my specs in system settings and found that I have a dual_core 2.5ghz CPU. this nis not the product that I was advertised.

This laptop does all that is supposed to do. Read all instructions and the set up and use is a breeze. This system allows for many different useful accessories. to add on if one wishes. It is small and light in weight and I am able to take it with me where ever I choose. It more than satisfies my needs as a semi professional photographer. Storage of my photo work and related software. I am able to download photos and notes and sent them to prospective buyers while in house or on the road.

This laptop is everything that I expected from it...albeit it after some initial setup issues. Of the negative reviews out there, the majority if not all focus on the WiFi. This is an issue initially and I would warn those purchasing this laptop to immediately after paying to go to the Geek Squad and have them make sure the updated WiFi drivers are present. The WiFi is not properly configured for Win10 out the box. Knowing this would have saved me a few hours and a couple of return trips to BB. [Also would not have been a problem if this laptop had a Ethernet port but WiFi is the only option.] Once they loaded the updated drivers, I've had not issues. WiFi aside, this is a great laptop (especially for the money.) Fast, light, and all [work] day battery life. My older HP is bigger better and badder, but also runs pretty hot, is heavy, and has a loud fan. I bought that one as a desktop replacement. I bought this one for its portability. Some may think that the 256GB drive is small but not when you consider all the cloud storage available these days. Yes, it makes for a heavy tablet but then its also more functional as a tablet for those few times when I need it to function as such. Otherwise, I'll be sticking to my Samsung tablet for true tablet activities (e.g. couch surfing.) I would highly recommend this laptop but agree with the negative reviews that Dell should've made sure the wifi drivers were updated / working prior to shipping the units out. Hence, my reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

I was shopping for a tablet or touchscreen laptop that would be a strong performer for both general computing and very mild CAD/ CAM needs. After looking at the new Surface Pro, a few other touchscreen laptops and then these Inspiron 2 in 1 systems, I ultimately opted for the Dell Inspiron. At the time of my purchase, the new Intel i7-6500 chipset was available in the 13" Inspiron 2 in 1, so this top tier CPU option with 8GB memory and a 256GB SSD would be my new system. Between the hardware configuration and Windows10, this system has been able to keep up and perform up to my demanding expectations. It can run most CAD applications reasonably well for a laptop, however may still struggle on complex designs with the Intel HD 520. It is worth noting however that the Intel HD 520 is noticeably performs better in real-world 3D applications better than the previous Intel 3000 and 4000 integrated chipsets. The SSD is no Evo, but it does boot very quickly and hasn't presented any issues so far. The wifi did require a driver update upon initial setup so that I could get and maintain wifi connection. The (3) USB, HDMI and SD ports were exactly fit my 3D scanning requirements and work without hitch whereas other systems would encounter inconsistent issues. The touchscreen works great in both tablet and laptop mode, however I have not had an opportunity to try out the new new Dell active stylus pen with it. As far as battery life is concerned, like most systems they don't perform quite as the printed specs, but this 2in1 system does last a strong 7 hours at least, with a good mix of application usage and all settings configured for best performance. If you're a hardcore gamer or CAD engineer then this won't be your primary system but can make a great secondary system. For most any other type of user, this top tier i7 Inspiron 2 in 1 system should fulfill your needs quite well, and look great doing so.

So far I've been rather pleased with this laptop. I bought it at the beginning of January and have not had any major problems. It's light and the perfect size for carrying around, and I'm a big fan of the SSD since it boots incredibly quickly. I use this laptop for a variety of things (email, general microsoft office, watching videos, editing pictures, playing games, etc.) and have not noticed any performance issues. The trackpad is relatively sensitive, so there are times when I will accidentally zoom into the page instead of scrolling. The only problem I had was when I called Technical Support about a possible Wifi issue. I resolved the issue on my own later that day by doing my own research and adjusting the battery settings for Wifi, but the representative offered no valuable information so I will not be contacting them again. However, the laptop itself is great and I would definitely recommend it for everyone!

This laptop is lightweight. Has a lot more on it than I realized: touchscreen. Good battery life. Downfall: the new Windows 10. Do not like the way it is and having difficulty getting my printer paired with computer. Had to buy an external hard drive for my CD computer programs that I continue to use.

Was looking for a tablet and wanted one that would interface with my laptop. My old laptop started having hard disk noises and I was told would soon die. I went shopping for a new laptop that had a sold state drive so I would never have that hard disk wine again and found both in this product. Plus having a touch screen is fabulous, especially with windows 10 you can never go back. This is so lite weight without the DVD too that it is really a laptop that I can carry with me Just love it and would refer to anyone that needs a new one.

Out of the box, this laptop is very frustrating. The wireless LAN drops connection frequently and disappears from the device manager altogether. The laptop also will not restart or shutdown properly. Fortunately, Dell has updated the drivers for the WLAN and BIOS that address these issues. My suggestion would be to download all of the available drivers immediately and update to save yourself a headache. Dell's quality control just wasn't there with the original image.

Fairly easy to set up although the Webroot software that came with the computer wasn't Win10 compatible. Used existing Norton account instead. Pleased with speed, screen definition, portability, battery life, which is way longer than my 9 year old laptop, etc. Would purchase again.

Best Buy and their staff are the best! I bought it on sale for $799 minus a college discount during the holidays. Better price for similar quality than the HP & MS SSD 2-in-1 laptops/tablets. The laptop has: touch screen, very good quality screen, backlight key board, very good battery (lasting around 6-7 hours in lower brightness), Fast Solid State Drive, 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0. I bought an LG external disc drive from Best Buy to install older programs. I also bought a SanDisk flash drive from Best Buy online to extend its hard drive capacity. It starts and turn-off very fast. Used mainly as a laptop. The negative is with Windows 10 that comes with it, with forced auto updates that you can not turn off. Thank you Dell and Best Buy!

The Dell - Inspiron 2-in-1 13.3 Touch-Screen offers pretty much everything you could possibly want in a little laptop, and then some. Due to its solid state drive, there's virtually no boot-up or shut-down time - no matter what you put the processor through, it never runs hot, and its capacity is impressive. My son plays online games, and speed as well as resolution are practically indistinguishable from a console. The laptop is very solidly built (metal), and can withstand a bump or the handling of my grandkids if need be. Multiple USB ports are a definite plus, and the lack of a disc drive isn't really a problem, because you can just plug in an external one - there are plenty of ports. We actually gave away our VCR! The screen is bright and legible from all angles, the picture crisp, and the touch function fast and responsive. Great item!

My old laptop was SUPER HEAVY! Plus it kept shutting off while I was working on documents. Read the reviews on this one, went into the store to see it and I couldn't be happier. Was a little nervous since WIndows 10 was already on it, but that has been an easy adjustment. I especially enjoy the tablet mode and touchscreen. Comes in handy when I have to give a presentation to clients and impromptu meetings on the train.

I had the same issues w/getting kicked off of the WIFI moments after booting up, as everyone else. I was prepared with a USB WIFI adapter to be able to update the drivers. Unfortunately when I tried to reboot to use the WIFI adapter, the computer wouldn't let me sign in! It was bizarre. I had moments earlier, set up a password for the computer and then when I tried to use the same password, I could not get back in. There was some kind of software glitch happening. I even had an IT person at my house setting up my network and he said something was defective. I took it back to Best Buy to exchange for a new unit and then walked it over to Geek Squad. They were rock stars in helping me. Before I left the store, they updated all the drivers, removed any bloatware and set up my antivirus. So far, so good on this computer. I love the matte/rubbery finish on this and the keys are very comfortable and responsive. The battery life seems to be better then expected thus far. All in all, it seems like a lot of bang for the buck. I've already recommended this computer to a friend. I also purchased an HP Spectre 360 and I think I like the look/feel of the Dell better

I returned another laptop to get this one instead. For the features and the price, it seems like the best deal at the time. materials are quality, the laptop isn't too big and is perfectly portable. The only issue I experience is when there is a major Windows 10 update, my internet quits working at the beginning of the update and the wifi card disappears from device manager. Upon restart, the computer hangs and must be force restarted. Upon boot, Windows update executes without issue and the wireless card appears again. Slightly annoying but a great laptop nonetheless. At this time, Dell does not have an answer and there are no Dell provided driver / firmware updates that seem to correct the issue.

These Inspiron 2-in-1's are pretty good machines, whether the 7353 or 7352. I've bought about 12 of them in the last few months, and so far just one has bit the dust after a few months of use. The 7353, when rebuilt clean with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, updated, etc, was throwing errors in event log about ahci and the SATA controller resetting and would hang for about twenty to thirty seconds about two or three times per hour. This was only resolved by updating the firmware of the SSD drive itself, which I think is pretty funny to have to do but whatever. It resolved the problem, but such a fix is a bit much to ask of a normal user - not that the process is hard, but that a user would be expected to do this to get a clean build working is not indicative of a very finished product. On the whole though I think these have a good build quality and spec level for the price you're paying. They work well with targus usb 3 docking stations.

Purchased this laptop because of features (2-in-1 13" touch screen to use as laptop or tablet, powerful Intel core 7 CPU, quick solid state storage rather than mechanical hard drive), positive experiences with Dell computers, and competitive pricing. So far (1 month), so good. Meets our needs for a small, versatile, not too heavy laptop. For more demanding users, would be good to have a laptop that is one pound lighter (looked at Lenovo Yoga 3 laptop) and more storage but that drives the price up and the Lenovo Intel M processor apparently has its own limitations. So, overall, we are very happy with this item. And, we have not had problems with wifi described by some reviewers.

My wife and I were in the market for a laptop to replace an older one that had recently died. We had not shopped for a computer in over 5 years, so we did not know what to expect. The Best Buy employee took us through the various options and price ranges - we chose this Dell because of the Solid State Drive and the Intel Core i7. We were not looking to purchase a laptop that also functions as a tablet with a touch-screen, that was just a bonus. The computer was easy to setup, and has worked perfectly since we purchased it several months ago.
