Yes, boots up fast, but I thought it would process fast as well. No CD/DVD player and no number pad to the right, but the prospect of "fast" overpowered these--and now I regret it. If these two qualities do not bother you, then this will be okay for you, just not ideal for me. I like the touch screen but haven't used it to the full potential as of yet.

Fast and easy to navigate. Touch screen and voice guide are great! Graphics are clear and personal identification helps keep work private.

This 2 in 1 laptop has a solid state drive which allows quick boot up and still has adequate memory. Geek squad setup was helpful too!

Plenty of memory, and speed. My disappointment is the elimination of the cd/dvd drive. The Dell Inspiron is ideal for the average user

I only bought this computer because my previous inspiron finally bit the dust after 5 years of great performance. I was skeptical at first but I really do love this new inspiron! It's very portable which is great for me as a college student and it runs extremely quietly! Would definitely recommend to someone.

I use it for business and personal. It works great. Plenty of speed for my needs and love the metal exterior.

Going on 3 yrs now using this laptop for web development. It's still fast and can process a lot of requests without crashing. Love the 2-1 as well for making presentations or just streaming movies.

The new Dell Inspiron was a replacement for a 6 year old PC, and it is a fantastic improvement.

Within a week, the original laptop I had purchased had something wrong with the touchscreen--it was as if someone had taken over my computer! After bringing back the computer several times, they finally exchanged it out for a new one which has not given me any problems lately. I had the Microsoft Office downloaded on it; my only complaint with it is that I can't use Word documents without being connected to the internet.
