An unresponsive fingerprint scanner and multiple keys failing with light use make it difficult to actually use the computer. One of the keys I need to log into my password manager, for example, only works about 10% of the time. And it isn't a commonly used key. I will not buy a Dell again.

Crazy screen glare and my hands palms kept hitting the extra large mouse pad. Had 2 powerpont presentations fail and ut even had a refresh restarts from freezing. Thankfully I was able to return it.

Extremely fast response accross the board. So smooth. My bluetooth boombox is performing like never before. Lots of support during setup. I'm extremely impressed and satisfied.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Dell - Inspiron 16.0" 2-in-1 Touch Laptop has a wonderfully big screen, eliminating the need for a stand-alone monitor and all of the Windows glitchiness of getting the laptop to recognize the separate monitor when it is connected. The touch pad is difficult to use and an external wireless mouse is highly recommended. The Dell comes with one "old style" (big) USB port which is a big attraction for connecting all of my legacy devices (GPS hardware, among others). The Windows 11 operating system seems like "amateur hour" compared with my wife's latest macOS. Microsoft couldn't manage to provide basic PDF file editing (like commenting, merging pages together or saving a PDF as a JPEG image for editing). And the lack of a Start button is maddening; each time I need to use a program (err..."app"), I must search for it. Even if I've used it for 10 days in a row, Microsoft fails to add it to the bar at the bottom of the screen. How hard would it be to include that as an operating system feature?

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Dell Inspiron and the screen went black on the second day after it was picked up (had to be ordered, not in stock.) I returned to Best Buy and they ordered a replacement laptop with no questions (other than what the symptoms were). I have been happy with the laptop, but have one complaint about the sale. Elliot told me that Microsoft 365 included McAfee anti-virus, which made the annual renewal fee for 365 less than my annual Norton anti-virus renewal fee. WRONG! McAfee is only included as a 30 day trial, then is an annual for fee service. I would have continued my Norton and purchased a one-time Office program had I known. Disappointed in the misrepresentation. That said, I am happy with the Dell Inspiron so far.
