But, the two machines I bought both took ages to update the OS and the drivers. I worked intensively with Dell to do it right. After full updates, both machines repeatedly, and never not, entered the blue screen of death. Unuseable!. Dell couldn't care less. They want me to mail them my "new" machine and wait 8-10 days for a return. And all of that on the phone with India, thick accent and all! Not happy. Very bad, Dell!

We're sorry to hear about the Blue Screen Errors that you've encountered. If you'd like to diagnose future Blue Screen Errors and find out what you can do to prevent them, we'd suggest the following steps:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.

The touch screen function works well, but I don't like touching my screen that much. Fingerprints! The wireless keyboard and mouse that come with it work well and are sleek. They both connect to the same receiver so it saves a USB slot. The body of the computer is thin and makes a great space saver so you don't have to have a big desktop unit. This system should mostly be used for word processing, email, Netflix, music etc. Don't expect to play any high-end games on the integrated graphics card. The processor boost helps a little, but I was still able to make the computer lag a little with enough multitasking. It has an integrated webcam that pops out of the top of the screen with a press of a button. Convenient, but you can't adjust the camera very well without adjusting the tilt of the entire monitor. Overall, a good product.

Therefore you could only use it as a touch screen. How is the Geek Squad approved when there are two essential items nonfunctional. When we called Best Buy the only “Service Recovery” was to return the computer even after talking to the “supervisor”. TERRIBLE customer service. Will Never shop here again. Amazon here we come.

This is the second time I'm sending it back to Dell and I've only had it for 3 months. Dell's customer service is poor and all the people you speak to have thick Indian accents. Get a different brand. I've never had this kind of trouble with any brand of computer before. I've owned computers since the 1990's and never got a lemon until now. I don't think I'll ever buy another Dell after this experience.

They also couldn’t find each other on the network even though they were less than 15 feet away from each other. Had a lot of trouble getting the network feature to work and they took FOREVER to start.

I took it home and like a child at Christmas, tore open the package and proceeded to setup this computer. After a week of installing software and tweaking settings.... The touchscreen stopped responding. The next morning I turned on the computer to find the monitor colors all wrong and operational issues with the RAM and touchscreen. I took the computer back to BestBuy and they exchanged it with a very simple process. Took the other one home and the exact same thing happened, I returned it and will never own another Dell again!
