I purchased this laptop while it was on sale, but even at normal price it is well worth your investment. Bottom line: Get this laptop.

The product arrived a head of schedule and was as expected. My son is using it for university and really likes it. The price was very good also.

The product is great it has a couple of glitches but runs smoothly. Nice screen and lightweight. I'm unsure if it had a backlight keyboard

just got this about a week ago and so far its a champ! put an old samsung 840 120gb sdd in and upgraded to win10 and it boots up in literally seconds! usually about 2 seconds, login and open chrome takes it to about 10 seconds total ;) palm rest stays cool and feeling the top of the laptop it only gets slightly warm mid left side of the case thanks to the i7 u processor. was thinking about going to 8gb at first, but with performance like this the best upgrade is definitely the sdd!

Good solid notebook for the money. Screen is good quality for the resolution, every so slightly less sharp than some others. Audio is very good. Case is solid with minor flex at the edges and keyboard area. Access door to Ram and HDD. Performance is slowed by McAffee AV, Dell backup software and some other apps. Also, HDD is often close to 100% utilization, so this is a bottleneck. Unistall McAffee and replace with other AV. Battery life is 4-5 hrs on average web browsing. Overall very good buy.

I want to buy something solid, not so fancy, and I read the review, purchased this one. So far so good, no problem at all, function at a good speed.

Was not sure how this was going to be but at the price we paid it has been well worth every dollar, so far so good.

Very good computer. I like the speed that the laptop brings, and can help you get basic and higher busy tasks done.

This is a decent laptop for the money. One of the best deals for an i7.

i bought this computer cause my old one had a role screen. Seems to be working great so far. Only used it a few times. I got it on sale for like 480 so price was perfect for me.

bought this for a great price, couldn't touch another laptop with these specs for this price. came with a windows 10 update, I didn't love windows 8. So far no problems at all.

Compare the features of this to higher priced models, 1TB hard drive, 6GB RAM, Intel i7. The 6 GB of RAM is a 4GB and 2GB. I upgraded my RAM to 12 GB total for about 50 dollars. Out the door spent about 530, including my upgrade for this high performance computer. Potential downsides: Very few. The touch pad did take some time to get used to as it is very sensitive. That is the only potential negative to this point.

Dell - Inspiron 5000 Series 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 6GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive: product has met my minimum standards. There does seem to be an issue with the time it takes to load a webpage, maybe something with the CPU or RAM. However, price was right and seemed like a good buy for amount I paid. Could use better customer service from sales rep.

Caught this on special and would have paid the regular price... fast, easy to use, just wondering if I should get Windows 10..... seems to be different options on that

Great setup and layout. Easy to use. Lightweight with large screen to make reading easy.

I purchased this laptop to replace an older HP that battery was wearing out, less processing power and slow response. I am very pleased with this machine. I use it mainly for organizing and printing pictures and using Office products. Large hard drive gives lots of room to store pictures. It is a bit heavy if you want to carry around a lot, but it mainly stays on my desk and is portable enough when I want to use it elsewhere.

Not as fast as I was expecting. For the price its great.

Overall good computer, some issues with keyboard and hard to get some games downloaded .

This is my first laptop and I'm very impressed with it so far. Still learning all the ins and outs of it. It has windows 10 which I like over windows 8!
