It is very quick, easy to travel with and allows me to have multiple programs going at once without any issue! Works great for my masters program and research projects!

I'm using my fingerprint to unlock it and it works very well. You can also play some Xbox games like Forza 4 (maybe not at the highest quality). For the price, it's a very good option!

Purchased this Dell - Inspiron 15.6" 7000 touch-Screen Laptop and love it. I am very impressed with the boot up time and overall speed of the laptop.

It already came with a basic program for music and a lot of memory for his downloads.

The GPU is pretty low quality. it has problems running graphics intensive programs like Solidworks (CAD program), cant really be used for gaming at all (minecraft even lags). its definitely fast for every day stuff like opening a word document or surfing the web, but is that really worth $1500 if thats all its good for? batter life is pretty underwhelming too. i average about 4-5 hours of normal use. pros: keyboard and pen are both great. haptics feel good and i enjoy them a lot. cons: way too expensive for what you get. yeah yeah, tell me all about the specs on this thing, i know. but its not that good. i have a 2 year old surface pro that out performs this. IF you want this computer, get the version before it. this is too much money for what you get

Thanks for your feedback on your new laptop. If you'd like to see if your computer can perform any faster you can try to run the Windows Performance Troubleshooter:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

Here are some tips for preserving the battery life on your computer:
Change the Power Plan:
1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
2. On the options list, click Power Options.
3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.
a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
c) Turn Battery Saver On or Off.
d) Additional settings available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.
e) Battery use shows further info on apps and their power usage.
f) Battery Saver Settings screen allows you to customize further Battery Saver feature.

What else do you want ?? That is more than enough you need for anything. Definitely a pro laptop.

The keyboard is easy to use with a good layout. The screen is big enough for my aging eyes and the speed is just right. I am glad I paid a little more for the I7.

Strangely is has a 45mb upload speed. All my other devises, my mac, my tablet and my iphone all download as 150 to 200. The BB Geek says the wifi card is working properly, it is just a poor card. Since I do alot of streaming the wifi card is problematic. He says for a fee I can probably get an upgraded card for my $1,400 computer.
