Computer is fast & efficient - exactly what I wanted.

I bought this Pc and installed Windows 10 Pro on a solid state drive and kept the 1 Terabyte drive for backups. Inside it has one slot for a 3.5" hard drive, which is filled with the 1 Terabyte hard drive. It also has (2) 2.5" slots for solid state drives and (4) sata ports to accommodate all of the drives. However, it uses a proprietary power supply and sata power comes from the motherboard. If you want to add additional drives, you have to buy the specific power connector that plugs into the motherboard providing two sata power plugs. And you will need to buy the 2.5" bracket that fits into the hard drive bays holding the SSD drives. I found all that I needed on @m@zon. Just type in the Dell Model number. There is also a PCI Express x16 3.0 which I used to install an Nvidia GTX 750 ti. There are also 2 PCI Express x1 slots. The onboard video card has one HDMI and one VGA connector. I wanted both monitors to have digital connections from the video card which is why I installed my own card. To access the inside of the Pc, you take the side panel off and release the plastic clips holding the front panel in place to remove the front panel. It then opens up easily. **ALERT** Be careful if you are working around the main hard drive and DVD player, as the sata and power cables are very close to the cpu fan. make sure they are not touching when you close of up the Pc.

I found this computer easy to set up and to connect my printer and camera. Very convenient size and weight for me--senior female. Graphics are good and the processor speed is great. After Internet research and reviews, I feel I have found the right computer for me.

I work from home, and this computer is exactly what I needed it to be-fast, quiet and easy to operate. It also has a lot of memory and storage.

I bought this computer for several reasons. I wanted at least 1 TB of storage and 12 MB of memory. I didn’t want to pay the price of an i7 processor but didn’t want anything that was slow. The i5 was perfect. Good speed and good performance. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Definitely recommend this computer.

Took it out the box well-packaged hooked it up work great install my programs came with a free $50 Virus Protection Program woke up the next day ready to work and my windows drive has crashed took only a moment to fix it and now I'm back smiling great product great price back editing videos

I bought this computer a week ago and it’s definitely worth the money spent. It’s extremely easy to set up, it took me about 15 minutes to get everything running! This is my first desktop as I have previously owned a laptop so i’m not a pro at really telling what the best out there but for what it is, this computer is amazing. It’s very quiet to the point I walked out of my room to get something and when I came back, I thought it shut off but no, it’s just that quiet! The performance I wouldnt say is beyond amazing, but its good. The keyboard is good quality although the mouse is slightly loud but that could easily be replaced. And the overall look is so beautiful, nice glossy black, minimalistic. I’m not a huge PC gamer but if you’re wondering if it runs the Sims 4 good, it does, I play it at the highest graphics and it runs smooth like butter. 5/5 would recommend! ( My monitor is the Dell S2318HN 23”, they pair great )

Great PC to use for work. Lots of speed. plenty of memory. Makes all your apps run smooth.

We haven't bought a new computer in 10 years. The computer we replaced was running Windows Vista. The Inspiron was easy to set up and did all the legwork for me. The speed is phenomenal, the graphics crisp and clear. With a tap of the button my email was set up. It has more than enough USB ports to handle all our accessories. This has been the home computer our family has needed for years. Recommend for anyone.

Very fast processor, handles all tasks I have at the office. I was very pleased with my sales consultant, he had excellent knowledge and was able to explain features and performance of several pc's i was looking at. Definitely made the experience more than buying just a box. I did purchase 2 Dells

I gave this computer to my son for his college work. He has been using it to do research. He is very pleased with the computer. He says it is lighting fast and easy to use. His facility is the ease of setting up his mail all mail programs in on easy to access.

My Dell Inspirion Laptop 1545 was so good to me I had to get another dell this time a Desktop, so I can mod a little, and a little it should be, because to me having a i5 core and 12G ram is enough to game it, but of course upgrading its graphic card would put it closer to the gamer Crew, I'm not a die hard gamer, but I'm really enjoying the quality of a PC for gaming, gave it 5 stars after waiting a bit having it on 4 stars, and that 4 stars was going to be because of the disc player being vertical, implying it can be laid down, but it has no bumps were it would sit on, but gave it a 5 because that's a small negative, other than not having a Solid State Drive, and it still rocks.

great performance for the price. I've owned 4 dell desktops over the years. I purchase a new version every 6-7 years because they are so reliable. My local computer consultant was also very impressed with the performance and storage of this new unit.

The Inspiron is a breeze to set up even if you know nothing about computers. It runs great and has given me no trouble. I'm not a gamer, but if you want a reliable, reasonably fast desktop for household use, this is the machine.

Dell PCs are workhorses, i.e. they perform till they get "tired." I had to pick up this machine because my old Inspiron inexplicably submitted to the BSOD after using it for five years (still plan to resurrect it). This new Inspiron, for all the extra RAM, doesn't seem to work any faster, but I just want it to keep working. The OS was rather buggy (frequent BSOD and restarts), and a nice person at Dell Tech Support helped me download a version of Windows and remove all the extra partitions to get around that. Apparently this was happening with all the Inspiron Desktops sold within a certain window of time, because a relative has an identical unit (with less RAM), and had no such issues after buying it in 2016. Go figure. 3.5/5.

This i5-7400 processor 12GB memory is great and just what you will ever need with plenty of space for everyday tasks, watching movies, downloading & uploading documents and its super fast!!!! Best option for the price.

I purchased this desktop to have a reliable computer at home for everyday use (paper writing, strraming videos and music, etc.) I have had it for two months and so far it exceeds all my expectations.
