It is fast and easy to use for a desktop. It comes with a downloadable Trend security that's good for several computers/ devices. Has Windows 10 and came with everything it said on the box.

Great As A File Server

There are nine external drives connected to this computer making a personal home media cloud service. I am running this unit headless and use Teamviewer to connect to it when necessary. Very light duty - as file serving causes no stress on the little Pentium CPU. It runs 24/7.

Slow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as an open box, figured it would be sufficient to replace 7 year old dell. It wasn't. It's really slow. Even replaced the original 4G memory card with an 8G......still slow. OK for maybe a very light user. It's basically a laptop in a desktop body. I returned it and went with the bigger Dell 3847 which is awesome.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My mother uses this just for web-surfing, but compared to my computer, which has an SSD drive, or even a bottom-barrel Dell laptop, this desktop is really kind of slow. It's good and cheap in a pinch, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't have bought her a laptop instead and hooking *that* up to her monitors, speakers, etc.

Very slow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly use this computer for streaming video (Netflix, Youtube, etc.) to my TV. It's not really adequate for that. The mouse cursor often gets stuck while the machine is doing something, and the video frequently breaks up. This computer might be adequate for light web browsing and email, but that's about it.

If it has been turned off, it takes several reboots to connect to the internet. When it does connect to the internet, it is extremely slow compared to the computer it replaced and other computers I have used. It will be replaced as soon as possible.
