I bought this PC based on my previous experience with DELL - I had a LATITUDE E6430 i-5 during the last 3 years, traveling constantly, from South to North in Latin America, without any problem. The only problem was the battery I had to replace sometimes and some USB ports which were damaged under normal usage. I´m very happy with this new light model and surprise with SSD Drive. The only think I missed is the keyboard back-light - this is important when working on planes and dark environments.

Overall appears to be a solid laptop. One downside is that keyboard does not light up.

Great workhorse for many applications and heavy productivity usage. i7 was nice, and would have done 16GB if it was in stock.

I purchased this laptop because I wanted a powerful business-class laptop to last me quite a while.
Pros include build quality (although plastic), serviceability (dual RAM slots along with M.2 SSD slot and 2.5" HDD bay), and I/O (plenty of USB 3.0, type C, and even VGA)
Cons include NO BACKLIT KEYBOARD. Spending $900+ I didn't even think to check and make sure it had a backlit keyboard because I just assumed it did. Technically, this is the lowest end of the Dell Latitude series so no backlight is included. Also no touchscreen is a bummer, but most business-class models don't include those anyways.
Overall, there are better priced HP Probook and Lenovo IdeaPad/ThinkPad options with similar specs and build quality. I would probably recommend looking elsewhere. But, if you like Dell and you don't care about any of those extra features, this is a nicely built laptop that will last quite a while.
