Bought this for our home business, all started up with no problem and works great so far. There was a dent in case causing CDROM to not work until we figured to push it real hard while holding the case; same issue for power button.

I bought one for my mother-in-law (MIL) and it's worked out well for her. If you're the tech support for your parents/in-laws, and one of them needs a new desktop, then this might be for them. Good specs and a decent price (at least when I bought one).

Although what I received was different from what was pictured (it's bigger than what I expected), I certainly did not get hung up on that detail. It has an i7 processor, 16GB of memory and 2TB Hard Drive. IT'S FAST and I love it. My daughter is an artist and uses an XP-PEN tablet (need an HDMI adapter) and loves how her Adobe Creative Cloud program is Sooo responsive now! Thank you DELL and thank you Best Buy.

While the specifications were as listed, it was not the item shown in the add. It was the older, large tower that would not work in my space.
Returning the item was a hassle. Got passed around to multiple people online who offered to replace the item, but apparently could not tell me if it would be the small CPU that was shown in the picture AND it would be about a month before I received the new computer. The store was more helpful in that they actually took the return, but they acted like I was asking for the moon and the stars and kept telling me how much work it was going to be for them to take a return for something purchased online. It took two associates and a manager and each one told me that it was a lot of paperwork for them to take an online return and I should just do it online instead.
I can’t imagine I’ll buy anything else from BestBuy after this experience.

I had this machine for less than 2 weeks and it started acting up on me. First it froze, then started flashing different color lights. Now, I'm not able to log into the machine nor get it to safe mode to restore. Never again will I purchase a Pre-Owned machine from Best Buy.

1. Run a Computer Diagnostic. To determine if your computer is experiencing a hardware problem, run the Dell Preboot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics. For information on how to run Diagnostics, and to determine the issue, refer to Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2iaiujA. 2. Check Safe Mode for Symptoms. To boot into safe mode, please follow the instructions below: a) Start the computer. b) Tap 'F8' on the keyboard immediately and every one second until the Dell logo screen disappears. From there you will see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen. (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.) c) Select Safe mode with Networking and press Enter. d) Log on as the administrator or as a user with administrative access. e) Open applications and test the computer in safe mode. If the symptoms exist in safe mode, please continue the troubleshooting steps in this article. If the symptoms do not exist in safe mode, the issue is likely related to a driver or software and you may wish to complete step 3 to see if you are able to resolve the lockups or freezing. 3. Item came in pieces, I had to return to the store even seal. You can feel the pieces inside the box. I don't recommended this item and I still with issues with the return. Very bad experience with Best Buy.

I would like to return this but because of the vivid 19 pandemic it is almost impossible. It started out with a blue screen and after several rebooting with a computer expert he finally got it going. It is currently running but with all the bells and what I am using it for it is really slow. I would still like to return it. It is a very noisy computer. I can hear it from another room and sound like it’s going to die any moment. Hopefully I can return it when the pandemic is at a halt.

Thanks for your review and we're sorry that your computer is not meeting your needs. If you continue to have Blue Screen Errors we'd recommend the following steps:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports". 2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software. 3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly. 4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.

If you'd like to see if your computer can run a little faster for you we'd recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter:
