i was using an ultra wide 2560x1080 monitor for several months and loved it. I have to do web presentations for clients regularly and none of the web meeting providers supported the resolution. In fact, the session would crash when I would try to share my screen. I opted for the next biggest resolution monitor I could get without breaking the bank and this one was one of the few option with 1920x1200. I lost some width, but gained height, but best of all, my meetings no longer crash. The monitor image is excellent with great depth and contrast. For some reason there's no HDMI, but display port works great. Highly recommend. Especially for the price and features

I bought two of these as I was looking to replace a couple of Samsung 930b's 1280x1024 (4:3) and this monitor was rated well by reviewers and MaxPC magazine. I like the aspect ratio since most new monitors are in the 1920x1080 (16:9) category and that cuts the top and bottom off some games. This monitor gives you a little of that back with 1920x1200 (16:10). They are easy to set up and the height adjustment is pretty cool the way that it works and is fast and easy. The controls are easy to use. It has a quick setting feature that you can use when viewing a lot of text that tones down the brightness, thereby easier on the eyes. For gaming, internet surfing, pictures, and videos I noticed no flaws just clear, bright, beautiful colors. Overall a very nice monitor. I used my old DVI-D cables although some nice DVI-I ones came with them.

After trying to settle for a large monitor that I was going to use for the next few years I wanted to make sure I could get the best qualify at a reasonable price. I tried a few and brought them to my office where after a few days I had to return them. The Dell - UltraSharp 24" Widescreen Flat-Panel IPS LED HD Monitor was the 3rd and last one I would give a try. As soon as I hooked it up to my PC I knew I found the right monitor for my use. Quality good, size is ideal for my business application, and the look and feel make me feel it is worth more than what I paid. Thank you Dell!

This monitor is dated model. But the resolution is really the best in the price range. And the stand is a professional one, you can turn the monitor to vertical mode, which is best for paper and book reading.

Sharp picture, good price, can be raised and lowered, turned side to side. Has USB ports. Nice!

This is probably about the best monitor you can possibly get unless you spend a LOT more $$$. The 24" with 1920x1200 resolution is a great match. Not too big--not too small. Having 1200 vertical pixels vs. the now more common 1080 (1080p) makes a difference as having that extra bit of vertical screen real estate is nice. Image quality is fantastic and is an all around excellent performer. Highly recommended!

I was debating on getting a 1080p monitor. I am so happy with this purchase. The higher resolution makes it easier to use when you split the screens when multi tasking. It has excellent color rendition for photo editing.

Prior to purchase, my only concern about this display was its non-glare coating. Several online reviews indicated that it reduced the image quality and text legibility. I have not experienced these problems. The aspect ratio adds height which in my work (software development) is very welcome. I'm fussy about displays since I look at them all day every day. I'm very happy with this one.

A very nice monitor. I use it mostly for office-type applications, not gaming. The images driven by my digital (DVI) output are very clear. When I use the VGA input (from my laptop) I see some blur in text (could be my laptop graphics card). I really like the extra height on the screen (1200 dpi vs. the more standard 1080 dpi) that gives me the area I need for multiple office documents. The adjustable height, tilt, and swivel are nice too (many other monitors in this price range don't have adjustable height). Full screen rotation is a plus too.

Very nice, we purchased 2 flat panel tv's and are very pleased. They both perform micely and have great pictures. Very good pricing on both and the sales lady was very nice and knowledgeable.

Purchased two of these for my home office on a coworkers recommendation. So much more productive than my laptop screen and adjustable stand is awesome for height and swivel.

Monitor is ok, but it should come with the cables needed to hook up to a laptop, or inform the buyer of this shortcoming. An HDMI to DVI cable was needed.

Over the past twenty years I have owned many monitors, both CRT and flat panel. This is by far the best I've ever experienced. Crisp image, bright colors and exceptional contrast. I love this monitor.

1920 x 1200 16x10 gives you a bigger display than standard hd. Bright and sharp image. We use two of these monitors for video editing side by side. I like the stand and it's adjustability.

Needed to upgrade with a budget. Great monitor for daily activities, light work and photo editing.

Excellent monitor with very good color accuracy and flexible stand that tilts, swivels and rotates

This is an excellent monitor. The only downside is that there is no hdmi. If you can live without hdmi, you will be very happy with this monitor. I use this for both programming and everyday use (going online, checking email) and I am very satisfied with the picture.

I bought two Dell UltraSharp IPS LED 24" monitors to increase my workspace. I adjusted them slightly so the brightness and contrast match each other. It is great to have the two screens. The price and value are outstanding. I would recommend these for everyday use.
