Q: Is this monitor compatible with the Macbook air?
A: This should be compatible I use it with a 2011 Macbook Pro and have no issues. The one issue with an Air maybe the model year. Also Highly recommend displayport to displayport or to DVI , VGA will not display a good image.

A: It's overfit for a security monitor. Just buy some 100- range monitors for this purpose. Unless the money is too hot to stay in your pocket
A: They don't list the revision on their website. I've ordered a few and have received A02. Since they go in and out of stock, it's extremely likely you'll receive the A02.
