XPS 15 - Worth the price and absolutely phenomenal
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell XPS 15 is phenomenal. I've had it just a few days with this exact build, and I can't tell you how happy I am. It is lightning fast. The screen is gorgeous, bright, and crystal clear. It's so quiet. I'm not big into gaming, but I tried a few games which ran flawlessly. The keypad is smooth to the touch and also quiet, and the backlighting is wonderful at night. The camera has worked perfectly, and the sound coming from the speakers is above expectation. I love having the touch screen which has also worked so well. The laptop isn't cheap but that's for a reason. I have peace of mind that it will do everything that I need and more. If you are looking for a high-end laptop that will do it all, look no further. Bravo to Dell for building such a beautiful laptop. I can't find out fault to this point, and that makes me so happy. You won't regret the purchase I promise you. It's one where as a consumer, you'll feel like a winner as I do. 5 stars all the way *****

Simply magnificent laptop, worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned the two previous models, the 9510 and 9520. They were plague with quality control issues, starting with the giant trackpad, battery, screen, overheating and so on. And always returned to the MacBook Pro 16. This time, honestly, I did not have much expectation on this model. but after using it for a few days, it has blown my mind the quality and performance of this laptop. the battery and the processor are supreme, even with the OLED screen the battery last long. It is heavy and expensive, but it worth it. If you are looking for a top a notch laptop and has the money, I recommended it. Finally, my MacBook pro 15 M2 encountered a worthy rival.

Outstanding XPS Dell Laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Dell XPS 15 3.5K OLED Touch-Screen Laptop with the 13th Gen Intel Evo i9, 32GB of memory, and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 for a few weeks now, and I couldn’t be more impressed! This machine is the perfect balance of power, design, and performance. First off, the 3.5K OLED touch-screen is stunning! The colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and everything looks crystal clear, whether I’m editing photos, streaming content, or working on detailed design projects. The touch functionality is incredibly responsive and adds a nice layer of versatility when navigating through apps. The 13th Gen Intel i9 processor paired with 32GB of RAM makes multitasking a breeze. I can have several demanding programs open (like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and multiple browser tabs) without any lag. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 adds even more firepower, allowing me to game and handle intensive graphics work smoothly. Whether it's gaming at high settings or rendering 3D models, this laptop handles everything with ease. The 1TB SSD gives me plenty of storage space for my files and projects, and everything loads up super fast. The build quality is top-notch, as you’d expect from the XPS line. The platinum silver finish looks sleek and professional, and the laptop feels premium and durable. Battery life has also exceeded my expectations, considering the power this laptop packs. It holds up well through long work sessions, and the thin, lightweight design makes it easy to carry around. Overall, this laptop is a dream for both work and play. If you’re a creative professional, power user, or someone who simply wants one of the best laptops on the market, this Dell XPS 15 is well worth the investment. Highly recommended!

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works nice for basic games and school work which is all I have used it for yet. Only concern is the fan noise is very loud when playing games that are not even high intensity. Also can get very hot when running these programs. Battery life also does not last very long but long enough for a school day and homework.

Great Laptop for personal and CS degree work
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has performed well for me. I use it for homework activities while working on a degree in computer science. i did get the Nvidia Cuda toolkit & GPU drivers installed and working well to be able to use it on CS projects. I use an external monitor. i have even had 3 external monitors functioning at the same time via HDMI connections. i did have to add external USB-C - HDMI Mini Dock hub. the laptop came with one external connector for HDMI and USB. you can add a 2nd or 3rd monitor using a mini dock connection.

Xps15 upgrade from mac m1 2020
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First computer purchase over $2K since 2020. Recently switched back to a Windows PC from a Mac and I don’t know why I didn’t switch earlier. MacBooks are great but the new XPS 15 design is very nice and the components are much better or at least seem better than the M1 chip. This is able to support for Monitors at once with no problem and has more than enough ram compared to the previous gigabytes on the MacBook OLED screen is also very nice. I wish this was available on the 17 inch.

Premium Laptop Gets Better
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The XPS line has always been the "MacBook" of Windows laptops - premium and high specs. This new 2023 model does not disappoint. It's very speedy, with 14 core i9 processors (and the good stuff too - H models, not the more power efficient, but less speedy U series) and the Nvidia 4060 graphics card is a definite upgrade from the 2022 3050 ti equipped model. The screen is gorgeous. But all that powerful hardware comes at a price, as battery life is merely OK. And it's upgradability is excellent. I updated the innards with 64GB of RAM and added a 8TB NVME SSD in slot 2. Yes, it will accept many - though not all - double sided NVME cards. And, unlike previous models, the 2023 one seemed easier to open up for the upgrades. Previous models were always a nightmare to take off the back cover, but this one was off in three minutes, though it's the same design as previous. Minor complaints. The SD card slot is not flush, so adding a permanent SD card as cheap storage was not practical. The web cam is decent, but it could be better. And only two of the three USB-C ports are Thunderbolt 4 (both on the same left side.) The right side port appears to be just USB-C/DisplayPort. And other than a headphone jack, that's it for ports. No dedicated HDMI port. Overall, still one of the best laptops you can buy. But definitely at a premium price too.

I would buy this again and again.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. I’ve been using it for about a week for work, school and leisure. The screen is bright and beautiful even on battery. It gets a little warm, but not to the point where it’s uncomfortable on bare skin. I’m getting 6-8 hours of battery life which isn’t anywhere near what my M1 MacBook Air gets; however, this laptop works much harder than it does. I did reimage the machine immediately just to get rid of the bloatware. Typing experience is better than any windows laptop I’ve tried, not better than my Mac. Same can be said for the trackpad. That being said the trackpad is MUCH closer. The speakers are also fantastic. They sound better than my Air, but I don’t know about how they compare to a MacBook Pro. Even when gaming the fans stay at a very polite decibel level. I don’t game a ton, but it runs Baldur’s Gate 3 with no problems at all. My only con really is having to run Windows 11 to take advantage of the WiFi 6 chip.

Best laptop I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell XPS 15 is the best laptop I've ever owned. The best feature of this laptop that make it worth the premium is how thin it is. This 15 inch laptop has the profile of some 14 inch laptops because the bezels are so slim. On top of that, the display is absolutely stunning. The trackpad and keyboard are amazing and blow the competitionout of the water. Windows runs extremely fast and wakes up from sleep in only 1 second. I have not run into any issues and after using this machine I think the price is well worth it.

Best windows machine money can buy. Period.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t think it gets any better in windows space for a laptop. I purposely bought this older version. I don’t like the look and feel of the new design. I does get hot when you push it but that’s to be expected. It will game but not at highest settings. If you want gaming laptop then get one. This laptop is very well made. Screen is just beautiful. Trackpad is best in the business and ram and hd is upgradable. Only downside for some snowflakes is that it’s heavy but product that’s well put together usually is. Get it while they still have a few left

A Good Work Horse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has a OLED screen that provides great color - the blacks are very dark and one of the reasons I bought it. The laptop came with 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD of storage. I decided that I wanted even more so I opened the back ( you will need a thin plastic pry and an appropriate torx head screw driver -(5mm , I believe) and I put a 4TB SSD into the second drive and replaced the memory so I now have 64 GB. It was surprisingly easy to do. This computer is fast, does get warm - almost hot - when working. Dell provides a nice set of tools so upgrading the BIOS is easy - nearly automatic. All in all I am happy, just don’t expect to place it on your lap for very long!

Initial problem may have been advice not the XPS.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first one I took delivery on decided after a couple of days of loading my software on and having data transfer, that it would no longer acknowledge my bluetooth devices. Took it to the Squad which and was told it is probably defective and return it. I exchanged for another and it seemed to have a similar reaction to Adobe Creative Cloud, so I think it had probably been software compatibility rather than a hardware issue, but this time it fixes itself on restart. Otherwise it is an impressive laptop; fast, beautiful touch screen, and just reeks of quality in materials and construction. Now that I have the Geek Squad on speed dial I may increase the SSD memory.
