We bought this for our daughter who is a college student. It is lightweight and she can use it as a laptop or a tablet with just a quck flip of the screen.

I love this laptop I use if for school and the functionality of transforming into a tablet is great! I use the keyboard when I need to type papers and just the tablet when I want to surf the internet!

I wish they made one with a bigger screen but other then that its a great computer we have had it for a few months and no problems.

Robust construction and positive action. Nice feel - good to the touch Screen is protected when folded. Other designs have the screen to the outside when not in use. Keyboard feel is perfect for fast typing.

This is a great product would definitely recommend to others for the pricing and features and the simplicity of use.

I'm sure many young people could do the set-up themselves, but I needed help -not just this product - I always need help setting up new stuff. I think the touch screen would be useless without the convert-to-tablet feature and the tablet feature would be useless without the touch screen. If you are buying a new laptop, either get both features or save your money and get neither. Generally, I really like this but it would not take the place of a full-sized desk top computer.

I would definitely purchase this again. I can use it for email, social networking, writing, researching in laptop mode, then flip it and use it for games or for Kindle reading. Videos stream well and sound quality is very good.

I replaced a 8 year old Sony Viao and I am amazed with the quick response and window 8 is easy to learn. I wanted a computer with the convenience of a tablet and the Dell XPS does it.

I bought this laptop for my 6th grader to use at school. I find myself wanting to hijack it from her because it is so fun to use. I have become accustomed to using an iPad and this computer provides me the convenience of a keyboard for typing and the touch screen for everything else. I'm trying to learn the nuances of Windows 8, but once I get those figured out, I might have to buy an XPS for myself.

I was reluctant to get a windows 8 because I wasn't used to the format but I could not be happier with my decision. I use this laptop as a tablet in class. It fits perfectly on my desk. Very lightweight and the best!

This is the best computer I've ever used by far. It does everything I want it to in terms of making notes, being organized, listening to music, surfing the web, storing my files, etc. Window's 8, however, is confusing to navigate at first and- actually- still is at times. But the computer is so great, I find it worth the time and effort to get to know Windows 8.

Nice but have to put up with finicky mouse pad. Still learning windows 8. Can not figure out how to preview apps that are not listed.

I use my laptop for presentations this is the best computer on the market for this purpose. The flexibility from laptop to tablet makes it very functional.
