New windows was hard to get used to but worth the time. Some software pains but the Geeks got me going. After the start up learning curve I am very happy.

I had experienced some issues with the mouse pad, it is not responsive at times. There are times when the rotation function doesn't work.

It works good, but the mouse pad tends to not work well most of the time and it is frustrating to get the curser where you want it to go.

Purchased based on my needs: light weight (i carry 2 laptops), windows 8, backlit keyboard, 1900 x 1080 resolution, touchscreen, USB 3.0, great looking screen (disabled auto-dim feature to get max brightness), and HDMI capable. i travel 2-3 times a week (2-4 hour flights) and wanted a Windows ultra portable laptop that was small enough to maneuver and use during flights (coach or business class). i use the laptop for both business and personal tasks. business use is mainly: reading/responding to emails, writing design docs, diagramming with Visio and PowerPoint and/or using MS Access to model db's and evaluate data files. the i5 processor manages these tasks without issue. personal use is web-surfing, emailing, some photo editing, streaming video, watching movies, hacking my Android phone, skype, etc. XPS12 handles these activities without any problem. in-flight battery life has been good/acceptable and i have not had to use the charger during flights. i'm not a fan of the Windows 8 start screen so i installed a $5 program called Start8 that gives me the Start Menu just like Windows 7, but with more configuration options (e.g., boots straight to desktop like Win 7). i use the touch screen about 40% of the time i'm using the laptop, mainly for scrolling through long documents, web pages or navigating to Windows 8 screen for Control Panel or other settings. although this laptop is perfect for my needs, the limited disk space will become an issue if i don't remember to push large files to "the cloud" for backup. as with any technology based product, purchase decisions are matter of balancing the product's features with your needs/desire and determining if you can manage with the product's perceived/real shortcomings. the XPS12 gives me what i need and i'm able to manage with the laptop's shortcomings (e.g., limited disk space, average mouse pad, no microSD slot, only 2 USB devices). overall i've been very happy with the XPS12.

This is a great computer. A little pricy but I was planning on this big purchase. Again I do not like windows 8 but I do like the convince of being able to go back to the desktop. Overall this is a great computer.

This is a good computer, fast CPU, a little bit heavy.... Keyboard not so great, window 8 still has a little bit hitcup.

This computer is great to cart around, goes from tablet to full lap top with minimal fuss. No issues with this feature. However, it works a lot slower than I thought it would being a i5 processor with no additional downloads. It also blue screens specifically with Microsoft apps. It won't hold a steady wifi connection for long even with a specific wifi set up only for this specific computer.

I absolutely love my new xps! I researched laptops for a long time before I decided on this one and I'm so glad I chose it!

Good value for money considering how much you would spend on buying a tablet and an ultrabook separately.

Glad I splurged and got this versatile laptop/tablet. It is very responsive and surpassed my expectations. The color on the screen is brilliant. Blows away my desktop flat screen.

Sleek, lightweight, yet powerful laptop that converts to a tablet. Excellent battery life. Ability to use glass surface OR keyboard to type; I thought I would hate typing on glass, but found that I really have no trouble with it.

Battery life is great on a full charge. Love flip screen, great for presentation or using as tablet. Touch screen easy to use.
