I purchased this product two days ago on 11/26/ 2019,And so far I cooked four meals in it,I cooked a pizza and it came out very well, it was done evenly all the way around, and it was cooked all the way through. I used the confection oven and it made the food perfect and it cooked it evenly all the way through. The fan is whisper quiet, and the unit looks very nice to the eye. I have to admit though it was smaller than what I thought, the photo made it seem like it was a lot bigger, But that's not a complaint, just something I noticed. All in all I would recommend this to anybody.

Nice size, easy to use De'Longhi - Livenza toaster oven. Takes up less counter top space than many of the other brand name toaster ovens. Nicely rounded out at the rear of the oven to accommodate a round pizza. Purchased to replace my 30 year old De'Longhi toaster oven which finally died. I'm back to baking cakes efficiently without generating an over abundance of heat in the kitchen - oven pre heats quickly. Very satisfied!

This is a convection toaster that is somewhat compact at about 10 inches tall and 18 wide. The convection system is basically a fan that recirculates air and makes cooking more even and a lot faster. About twice as fast in some cases. Unlike many other toasters that use infrared heating elements, this uses metal heaters on both top and bottom, distributed all around the top and bottom surfaces, which to me appears to produce more even heat. Because it doesn't light up red hot, it has a white light inside the oven that stays on while it's heating. The back of the oven is curved so despite it's compact size, it can fit a small pizza, and it comes with a round pizza tray. The exterior is all stainless steel, and double pane glass door with a large handle. Besides the insulated door, there top and back don't appear to have much insulation as they can get quite hot. The controls are surprisingly easy to use. We've been using a slightly older toaster with digital controls and this is a lot simpler to use: There are two knobs, which by the way are a lot better quality than what we usually see on toasters. The top is traditional mode selector (Bake, broil, toast, etc.) and the bottom knob sets the temperature and time. Once the mode is set, the display flashes with the option to change (Temperature and time, or slices and darkness level, etc. based on the setting). Press the center of the bottom know to switch which setting to change, and press the start/stop button. If this sounds confusing, it's actually very simple to use. Minor caveats: The toaster has a clock, and the backlit display stays on, slightly dimmed when not in use. I would've preferred that if the clock is not set, the backlit display remained off. The other issue is that the rack does not slide out when the door is open, and the door does not open all the way down flat because the large handle is in the way. Overall it's a great choice: it toasts evenly, looks good on the counter and it's simple to use.

I already had a pretty nice toaster oven from another well-respected brand and I used it all the time (if I could use it instead of the main oven, I did). Was it the prettiest or most feature packed toaster oven, no, but it worked and it worked well. It wasn't cheap either. The DeLonghi has more features, works better (which I didn't really think was possible), and and does it all in a package that you would be proud to have on your counter. I'm typically a substance over style guy and while I don't want something ugly on the counter, I care more about how it works. My previous toaster oven have the prime virtue of being consistent. It worked well, it worked every time, with consistent results. Now you might ask yourself 'why the ode to the previous toaster?' Well, I wanted to make clear that I really liked my older one and didn't see any way that the DeLonghi could out-do it on any measure but style (which it does in spades). I will freely admit that I was wrong. I don't do that often. Both my wife and I work long hours and when we get home we are both usually starving and we both dislike microwaved food except in emergencies. Over the years we have found dinners that cook up well in a toaster oven and those our our go-to's when we both work late. Well, over the last week or so, we have both been slammed at work and the DeLonghi got a lot of use. All of our standards got tried in the oven and in EVERY case, the food either cooked up faster (a plus when you have a wife about to rip your face off because she is hangry), or cooked more evenly, but usually it was both. The true test was throwing the leftovers from our favorite local pizza joint in the oven. Reheating good quality pizza (especially the New York style pies that we love), is almost always a losing proposition. The DeLonghi is the first oven to make the leftovers taste almost as good as when we had it the night before when it was fresh. Now we are not talking miracles here, it was still reheated pizza but it was piping hot without the cheese turning plastic like, the toppings all getting soggy (or alternatively, scorched), and the crust was crisp but not dry. In my most important (and demanding) test, the DeLonghi passed with flying colors. Now this oven has a pan for pizzas and an arc'ed back to accommodate the pan which is really nice, though too small for the takeout pizzas we get. I just baked up my wife's slices first (being the gentleman I am and rightly fearful of her righteous hanger - she is tiny but terrifying when she is hungry) and then did my own using the rectangular pan with the slices alternating direction to better fit. That is why I am really happy with the speed in which the oven baked up the pizza because it got her eating and then me eating much quicker than normal. Usually, we do fire up the big oven and bake them all at once when we get this pizza, but I wanted to test the DeLonghi to see how it would do, and the pizza came out better from it than the full sized oven. The pizza tray that the oven comes with is probably more for frozen pizza and I have not had a chance to try that yet. I have only one complaint about the oven. It is so stylish and well built I was surprised that the bottom dial (which acts as a multi-function dial to select everything from the cook time, to temperature, type of food), feels so cheap. The selector dial above has a nice solid feel when moving between selections, while the bottom dial feels cheap and 'plastic-y' when turning. It is a constant turn dial, meaning that it has no stop on either end so that it can dial in all of the different values on the fly, and I was expecting a nice solid dial with a smooth turn but instead it feels cheap and doesn't turn as smoothly as I would expect. Does it change how much I really like this oven, no, not at all but it was a disappointment when I encountered it. The oven is so well built and beautiful otherwise, I just thought it a strange oversight on their part. Oh well, still love this oven. If you don't think that there is much of a difference between toaster ovens, you're wrong, the DeLonghi beat the heck out of my previous oven. Is this oven more expensive than a lot of other ovens, yes, but you get what you pay for and with as much as we use this thing, it is completely worth it.

Versatile Toaster Oven with Predictable Performanc

==== Summary ==== The DeLonghi Livenza toaster oven is a great cooking machine that is well-built and stylish, easy to handle and use, and high-performing in its various functions (Toast, Bake, Convection, Roast, Pizza, Cookies, Broil/Grill, Keep Warm, and Reheat). For a toaster oven, you can't get much better than this. Excellent product. *Pros: -Stylish & modern design. -Compact footprint. -Easy to handle and use. -Analog dials are grippy and satisfying to turn and use. -Bright and easy to read digital screen. -9 Preset Modes for quick and easy cooking. -Very helpful User Manual with a Functions Table and a Recipes List. -Food comes out well-cooked, even, and as desired from its two heating elements and double glass door. -Easy cleanup and maintenance. *Cons: -None. ==== Design & Build Quality ==== I find this DeLonghi toaster oven to be pleasing to my eyes with its modern design in silver and stainless steel. The fit-and-finish is perfect and all the moving parts actuate and move about fluidly and precisely. The display is bright, easy to read, and conveys all relevant information in a concise format (Toast Level, Function icon, Timer, Clock, Temperature, etc). I like using the two main dials very much (Function selection dial and Time/Temp dial) due to its clickity and precise operation and good grip. The rest of the control buttons are well-laid out and simple to use. The unit heats up quickly and its double-pane glass door design does an excellent job keeping the heat in and even. The toaster oven comes with 4 accessories - a Bake pan, a Crumb tray, a Pizza tray, and a wire rack. All in all, the Livenza toaster oven is a nice and complete package that is ready to cook up many delicious meals and treats. ==== Performance ==== I find the cooking performance of the Livenza oven to be very satisfactory and good. My toasts came out perfect - regular bread, flat bread, pita bread, garlic bread, and bagels. Cooking fish via the baking function, such as flounders, and broiling some Korean short rib BBQ meat were right-on as well. Another frequent menu item is some CPK Pizza that I enjoy with my daughter and it, too, came out perfectly. By following the suggestions inside the Functions Summary Table in the User Manual that lists the recommended temperature setting, timer duration, and pan/wire rack position, the uncertainty and slight stress of cooking were evaporated (yes, I'm a noob cook). XD I especially appreciate the Keep Warm function that can not only keep my cooked food warm but which also doubles up as a slow cooker. DeLonghi has created an awesome toaster oven with many convenience features and excellent cooking performance at a price level that is reasonable and inside that "sweet spot." ==== Closing Thoughts ==== I can easily and highly recommend the DeLonghi Livenza oven for its great performance, simple functionality, excellent user manual, and its handsome design. It really is amazing how such a compact toaster oven can do so much and do them so well in a consistent manner. It's a complete Win from DeLonghi.

I’ve always liked having an alternate option for cooking. Traditional ovens and stove tops are great, but having a smaller, more compact way to heat up food (that isn’t the microwave) is really great. That’s why I enjoy having a toaster oven in addition to our traditional kitchen appliances. For a while I had a small toaster oven that took care of most of my needs, but it wasn’t quite big enough for items like pizza. And sometimes, you just don’t want to use the big oven for a quick job. That’s why I like our new Livenza Convection Toaster/Pizza Oven from DeLonghi. I have to admit that when it arrived I wasn’t sure how much different this oven would be from our other one. I’d never had a DeLonghi brand kitchen appliance and I wasn’t really familiar with the brand. From the beginning, I was impressed with it. For starters, it looks like a professional piece of kitchen equipment. The exterior is stainless steel, which matches our stove/oven, dishwasher and a few other appliances in our kitchen. Second, this oven is much larger than our older one. The older one could how a few slices of bread. This one can cook a 10-inch pizza. With that in mind, you need to plan a place for your toaster oven to reside because it does take up a lot of counter space. This oven is powerful enough to broil, bake, or even grill food items. Getting started with it is very easy. Once you unbox it, you need to install the drip pan and the wire rack. The wire rack is meant to be moved depending on what you are cooking. For example, the manual says to use it in position 1 (the lowest placement) for cooking frozen pizza. After you install those two accessories, you will turn the oven to ‘bake’ and set the temp to 450º. Set the timer to 30 minutes. This will cook off any residue the oven has from being a ‘new’ product. It is likely to smell like something is burning (ours smelled a bit like plastic) but this is normal and expected. The manual suggests allowing 30 minutes after this initial cooking cycle for the oven to cool down completely before cooking something. This timing might vary slightly. Our oven cooled down in about 20-25 minutes. The first thing we decided to cook in the oven was a small frozen pizza. We had never had the opportunity to cook a pizza in a toaster oven before so this was a novelty. The oven actually has a notch designed in the back of the oven so that round pizza will fit into it. The oven comes with a pizza pan that you can use for cooking. It fits 10-inch pizzas perfectly. Once you place the pizza in the oven you will tap on the snowflake button to indicate that it’s a frozen item and then select ‘pizza’ on the top knob. The oven has an automatic timer set for that specific item so all you have to do is tap the start/stop button to get cooking! I ran into a small issue when I first started trying to use the oven. I had it plugged into a power strip and it kept overloading the surge protector. I eventually plugged it directly into the wall and didn’t have any issues with the oven staying on. I would recommend that you plug this directly into the wall rather than other methods of power. This is a very impressive kitchen device. I really fell in love with it after the pizza came out perfect. I’m eager to use the oven as the holiday season approaches. I think it will come in very handy.

I bought this to replace my old worn out De'Longhi toaster oven. It is a bit larger and has more functions, some of which I am having difficulty using. Toasting and baking work great, pizza not so great as it burns at the temp suggested in booklet. Also, having trouble figuring out how to set clock. Guess I need more time to fuss with it.

I've had this oven for a bit over a month. This oven replaced an expensive Breville that died after 4 years. I didn't want to spend that kind of money again on an appliance that can die so quickly. So after reading a bunch of reviews I chose this oven. It's not as big as I'd prefer but it does the job. It toasts very well, bakes in the time the recepie calls for, and warms up left overs quickly. I haven't tried the other functions yet. The only thing I think they should change on this oven is how big the door handle is. Unless you pull the oven to the edge of the counter you can not get your pan out. I have to have the handle dangle off the counter to get the pan out. It's not that easy when the pan and oven are hot. This is the reason for only 4 stars. I looked at cheaper ovens and the quality just isn't there. Over all I really like this oven and recommend it.

I received this to replace my existing home bar oven that, while good enough, was loud and didn't cook evenly. The difference between my existing oven and this one is night and day. To start, this thing absolutely looks premium. The brushed steel/chrome look is really classy and is a huge upgrade over the cheap looking black ovens you generally see at large B&M stores. More importantly, however, is how evenly this thing cooks. In my attached photo, you can see it cooking a 12" frozen pizza fry, and you can see how well it's cooking. In the preset pizza mode, which lets you select thickness and pizza diameter, the oven engages the convection mode, which aids in uniformity. Speaking of, the convection mode is surprisingly quiet. My old unit rattles like it's ready to fall apart, so this was a very pleasant upgrade. Finally, the laundry list of presets and cooking modes really makes this thing incredibly versatile. I've cooked a few things and they've all turned out perfectly. Highly recommended!

This DeLonghi - Livenza Convection Toaster/Pizza Oven has a lot of nice features and performs pretty well. It has a nice look to it sitting on your counter whether it’s on its own or in between other appliances. From what I have made, it cooked everything well and was pretty accurate with what I was trying to accomplish. One of the knocks is that it will take some time to learn controls and then remember them for future use. The manual is pretty good at making sense of all of it. One of my favorite things is the light inside. It even projects to the outside as well. From a size perspective, it’s average compared to others and preference is going to dictate what you want here. I can tell you that it can handle a 12" pizza easily and hold up to 6 slices of toast. It also could broil or bake some pretty nice sized things too. I think this could be a pretty versatile appliance for anyone’s kitchen. I do want to point a couple of things that I didn’t like. A preface this by saying this might be just this specific oven or personal preference. The provided rack does not slide out automatically when you open the door. This is a feature that we loved with our previous toaster oven. It’s such a convenience when preparing a meal. You definitely have to use a utensil or oven mitt to pull the rack out. Another thing is that the handle is very large for the door and it will not lie flat when open. If you want to use the lower rack setting, you have to pull it out so it can drop below counter level. Lastly, I feel like this oven is a lot louder than the previous ones I have owned. That’s when it is cooking and when it is cooling down. I think that part could be improved.

Has been a very reliable toaster oven. Small footprint, attractive body design. Only drawback is the door, whose handle prevents full extension because it will hit the counter surface, allowing the door to snap back closed unless it's held open.

This does the job and then some regarding toast and small oven jobs hands down. Would have rated 5/5 if the following issues were addressed. Handle hits the counter and doesn't stay open, so you either need to hold it open when you get your toast (while it's hot) or use 2 hands. 2nd the bell when it's done beeps too many times. Three times when the cycle is done and another when it turns off.
