Sound quality is excellent, but disappointed with remote. The remote is cheap plastic and has no weight to it at all. It should have been smaller with only the CD player controls, it has all the control buttons for Denon receivers but it did not work with my older Denon. The display is lacking, but I purchased this model for it’s sound quality not for its aesthetics!

worked great and sounded great for the first two days after that it started skipping more and more and it was not the cd. i played the same cd on my old cd player and it worked fine. denon is not the same denon of old. quality has gone down. i returned it.
